When every woman becomes aware with their rights then only she can stand against domestic violence.
In addition to awareness , I think the whole problem has to be brought out into the open ; something on the lines of homosexuality. As long as it was a shameful thing , to be hidden behind the four walls of a house , it remained a problem. Once it was brought out into the open , things have changed dramatically.
Encourage to file complaint about abuse.

people must have the fear that some one will surely punish us if we do the mistake the only right way to do that is through our legislation so they must have some strict rules and k,make them applicable if some one did wrong

Don't wait to see a violence victim to feel to be "involved". Nobody, subject to some form of violence in family context, have to feel to be let alone to face this menace. When early signals arouse, listen to the menaced people and help them: we need specific laws for this, and specialistic supports. Like education for all, in particular police operators. Then psycological support for people that show attitude to address family issues with violent behavior (physical but also verbal). Finally a cultural change program: the first that "justify" violence in family context too much frequently belong to the same family context.... |
