Update yourself

idea posted by Nikhil Jain Senior Consultant, Hewitt Associates
If you have a desire to return to the work, then its better to update yourself with the changes that are taking place in the your field as ignoring this can question your seriousness about the job as what you did and what you going to do... So better update yourself while taking a break from the job/work.

Work from home

idea posted by Rohit Khanna Project Leader/Managing Consultant, Accenture
Working from home will be another choice as most of the companies offer their employees the option of working from home. If you think you like the job you are doing, but need to slow down to strike a balance between your personal and professional lives, this could perhaps be a good option. It will benefit the employer as well as they can retain a valuable assets and also reducing the cost of seat of the employees.
