There is too much of fears concerning that Indian outsourcing companies are taking a whole lot, lately we all saw few of the American states deciding to not to outsource anymore and increasing the H1B visa price for Indians. There is a lot of fear that Indians will be taking all the jobs from them if Outsourcing continues.   So, How to mitigate the discomfort and outsourcing fears??  Do share your views on this....

Hire local talent to allay outsourcing fears

idea posted by Sonam Kapoor Software Developer, IBM

We have to make sure we are not very visible in those markets, it is natural that there would be some discomfort by any government if a large percentage of its workforce was not from the country itself.  The solution for us is to make the front end local, then no one will raise any objection.  The moral of the story is to make sure we are not very visible in those markets. Hire local talent. Hire Englishmen in England, hire Americans in the US and Brazilian in Brazil,

Tap all the potential available here & simultaneously, develop similar products so, the local customers do start patronising it. Mere supplying a talent is a threat then, the alternative is to hold them together & give opportunity to explore the out put.

The fundamental to introduction of outsourcing is to get those components of work which are available at treasonable rates.Consequences are the parent body has a chance to right size the company.Few of workers may get yellow cards ,but they can be trained for alternative jobs. So,companies who are engaged  in undertaking outsourcing jobs have nothing to do to allay the fears.
