The irony of retaining good people is that the more they feel they are able to grow and become more marketable, the more likely they are to stay. Employees are taking ownership of their careers and recognize the need to continuously refine and upgrade their skills. The more easily accessible and relevant training you can offer, the greater the likelihood that turnover rates will decline. |

Apart from pay levels, encouraging merit and granting partnership thru ESOPs.
Ownership/belonging are the two important factors to bring the best out of the employees. This can be achieved by sharing with employees the growth of the company by allotting them shares in the company,
Hi everyone,
friends though it does not give much weight to my openion looking at my designation, but then also I would say for any company the most important thing is to maintain or improve the culture of the company & keep on acknowlading the good work, to reduce the attrition I feel the company should have a very good transparancy from the front level to across hireachey, coz if everybody feels involved with organization , it gives a sense of responsibility & may help in reducing attrition.
First thing that i believe is if we learn more things and work with zeal then your growth will be high. So love your work.

Money is one of the motivation factor for the employee to stick around in a company . All the employee wants is recognization towards his/her work and to be paid according to the industry standards.
When they feel , they are under paid , they fly away .........
Surely. Salary hike should be given to those who are the high performers but the same time we need to ensure that the consistency will be observed in the consequent times.
Its a great motive for them infact and can be loaded with some more additional responsibility along with their regular job profile which in HR terms we call it as Job Enlargement.
Thanks

At the end of a day - all transfers happen because of some personal gain, which in turn is related with some personal goal. Simply asking a professional about his own goals might lift the mystery off of this - supposedly - tough question.
Salary increase is a no-brain approach. Wonder why it comes so low in HR priorities ?!
Professionals WILL advance their career, this way or another.

The best strategy any company could adopt is to increase the level of satisfaction of those high performers. This could be by increase in wages, change of enviornment, sharing of assignments, creation of social platforms and even plan more get togethers. As said, JOB and SATISFACTION donot go together and to give them high level of SATISFACTION would certainlu help retain the HIGH PERFORMERS. |

Salary is not a major factor as you cannot keep increasing it. Somewhere there has to be a line drawn.
Best way to keep the employee motivated is to increase his level of satisfaction, recognition of his contribution and freedom to "do more" by providing proper support and budget.

As HR we need to take the initiative to creat a family environment at work place, like celebrating their birth day, Family outing, gettogether with the all employees family once in a while, etc |

companies should do somewhere freedom to its employs,so that they can do work in free mind and this will help employ to generate new ideas and thoughts. |

Companies pay only For his Smart Work Not they are left so free the works which is levied on them will not be done on time..

No organisation , however good it is , can keep all its good or even best employees satisfied for ever. Assuming that an employee is valued after his / her first 5 years of joining , and assuming an employee joins an organisation at the age of 25 , you cannot retain an employee for the next 30 years ! What an organisation can do , is : 1. Have systems in place for recognising the high performers 2. Have systems in place for giving their efforts due recognition and possibly rewards 3. Have systems in place so that others , who are not so brilliant , can still learn from these high fliers 4. Have proper KM systems , so that when these high performers leave the company , they leave behind their body of work , on which others can then build 5. Have proper succession systems in place , so that when these high performers leave , there are other capable people who can continue the good work and ensure that systems and procedures do not lapse. 6. Have a great image in the marketplace , so that when bright talents leave , there are others who are willing to come in. |

Why Companies loses their high performers: Now a days Human resource management is not taken care properly in companies , The development of group cohesive ness, belonging ness to the company is no more given importance. Executives are always realised that they have to achieve their target which create a feeling among them that target is only important but they are not important to the company, gradually this feeling leads to job insecurity security in in them and at the mean time when they get opportunity in other sectors they easily leave their present position without having any difficulties. So its the alarming period for Marketing sector to retain high performers in their company |

people who are high performers in their respective companies are usually dynamic who likes variation in their work areas. also, they'd like to be seen on the top than the rest of the others. so, according to me, providing a shift in their field of interest within the same organization, along with salary hike including recognitions and ample onsite opportunities for the high performing individual should compel the individual to stay within the same organization rather than lookin for a change. after all, what else would such an individual want other than enjoying the top class benefits possible within any organization. this would make them feel distinguished from the others and they'd start feeling privileged for all the hard efforts they've put in in making them a top performing individual. |

The best idea I would suggest is to offer a good percentage of placement fees to a performing consultant & sign up an agreement for a longer retention guarantee else opt for a staffing solution where a consultant will ensure the retention of the talented resource & will also introduce more talented candidates for the organisation development. You can contact me for consultation & reap the best talented pool of candidates |

Provding growth opprtunities is one of the factor to retain the employees, but the other factors too will influence in retaining them, like hike in salary or incentives, personal level of satisfaction in job, recognition thorugh rewards. These will combinely give employee delight. It is important for an organization to satisfy their high perfromers through these factors to retain them as they can look for other opportunities coming their way which may give satisfaction in any one or all of the above factors. Then the high performers tend to move into other organizations instead of sticking to one organization. Hence, I feel that an organization should always provide employee delight to retatin their high performers. |

Companies need to retain high performers then they need to grow their companies interms of more projects, diversification of products. In addition need to open more branches of their businesses in home countries as wel as in globally. This will make a platform to promote and reward with best packages to high performers and surely they feel recognition and handsome remuneration. In turn these high performers brings mirracle in the organisation.

Identity, expression, fullfilment, respect & esteem are few things that an employee look from employer. Its very difficult to identify which factor comes first and the other follows.Depend on individual it varies but there is a fact that employee constantly look for certain things from the organisation. When it fails to flow to him, he switch over organization. Right organisation identifies these things and ensure it in the work environment to achieve success & goal. To changing environ, technology & business strategy, these things must be born in mind to retain employee for ever. |

Companies should try to match the skills and interests of their employees with their work assignments. Do employees seem interested or best suited to what they're doing? Provide an environment where employees can make the necessary adjustments to ensure that they are effectively aligned with what the company needs them to do and what they are best at and enjoy doing. |

The need for the fore runner is that they are always looking ahead for challenge. The competition for them is not within the organization but from the open market so they need to be provided with new challenge that can engage them in the job and also need to track them against the peers workiin in other industry and keep them abreast or ahead of them than only you will be able retain the high performers. |
