When you gain much experience, and you find out the seniors are handling things in incorrect way, its obvious you point it out. But in case when the seniority comes in, the senior always will feel I am doing it right, you have just joined this company and don't teach me things. This is the point you might want to shift. Take in mind, in most of the cases, employee never leaves job, he only leaves the manager.
Good debate jyoti, its true its time to move when yo dislike employer, coworkers. before you are asked to move.
Good debate Jyoti. It is true that when you do not achieve you lack interest in your job thus you dislike your employer when he goes harsh against you, you dislike your co workers when personal ego develops or get irritated with the harsh behavior of your customers. But then this all are inter connected hence you intend to leave your job only when you dislike your employer and coworkers. lack of Achievement is a temporary failure. It can be rectified but losing interest in employer or co worker leads to shifting of job. This all depends how you take it. After all it is a mind game. Thanks for referring

Its time to call it a day, when you cant do justice to the limited time that God has given you on this earth... Since you cant do justice to your own self, your EMPLOYER naturally suffers. That means you are EXTRA BAGGAGE to your Company. This frame of mind will compell you to find faults with everything around you... your Employer, your Collegues, your Environment, your office Loo, your Work timings, your Clients... the list is endless here too. Then, its time for you to take a walk... towards what may seem to you " GREENER PASTURES". This act will relieve you & your Company from a whole lot of stress & embarrassment. Since im self employed & when I feel im just sittng & hatching... I take a walk, go out & think creatively. It helps & when I get back, im back to work with vigour & whole lot of creative inputs. Happy Debating Friends ! |

when you wake up every morning increasingly wondering "Oh! not another day at work!" it is time for you to go. Usually the lack of appreciation is what starts it off....then it grows to indifference towards what you do your colleagues and clients. When that happens your job has died!
Sir, i agree to your idea which is a real fact

I have left jobs when I realized that there was nothing that I could achieve by staying on in the job. A job should never be only to earn money , though money is certainly one of the reasons one works. Job satisfaction is a much bandied about term , but I can stay on in a job even without job satisfaction , as long as I see that I am contributing something ; as long as I see that my working there is fulfilling some purpose. When I can see that my staying on is practically useless and purposeless , then it is time for me to go. |

of course if u r not feeling proud of ur job then y do it...watever we have studied is not only for money its about job satisfaction..i'll put my own example i left my previous co. only because i was not foreseeing any prospects of addding good work in my portfolio..for the beginners it's very essential to look for a company that offers job satisfaction and for those who are experienced enough they have achived accolades because of their work only.

At times the employer starts acting clever. This occurs when the employer has learnt the operation and way of running the business or relevant work, he starts behaving with the key employee, narrating the excuses of weak balance sheet and less profit, thereof. By doing this he curtails in salaries of suitable and adequate employees while believing on back biters OR non-professional ideas of other employees. This attitude of the employer heartens the sincere ones. I feel that at this juncture the sincere employees should consider 'It's time to leave' and look for professionally managed company and employer.

Dear Akhilesh, There are many more things where the employer in not clever but pretend to be one being the employer. They do not listen to the professional advice but get carried away by the flattery of their own people who also score on wrong feed back and also know what the employers wants to listen to. Unfortunately the employers loses sooner or later but the professional loses earlier as the non conducive working environment takes away the working pleasure, which is must for any organization to work with.

Each of us makes experience of a growing curve in what we are doing. When we perceive the growth cycle is ending, it's time to seek for change (if not employer, could be professional area, unit, etc) |

Its just one of those days and you decide to take the day off by calling in sick or being casual about it... That fateful day, if your responsibility takes shape without you in the seat, it is a clear signal that you have been displaced and work will continue even if you arent anywhere near your workplace. It actually translates into look for a suitable job placement... ELSEWHERE!! There would be personal indications of your mind sending you signals etc, but this one reason is the reason to quit, take your notice period in and strat utilising it to get a new job!! Thanks for the referral Priyanka :) |

NOTHING SUCCEEDS LIKE SUCCESS.AS LONG AS ANY ONE KEEPS ON ACHIEVING HIS OBJECTIVES IN ANY ORGANISATION HE/SHE FEELS HIGHLY COMFORTABLE AND ASPIRES TO GROW WITH THE ORGANISATION AND ANCHOR THERE.ON THE CONTRARY WHEN THINGS ARE GOING IN ANTI DIRECTION ANYBODY STARTS LOSING INTEREST.WHEN THE FAILURES CONTINUE ONE SLOWLY STARTS LOSING INTEREST IN CONTINUING THE SERVICES.FAILURE IS NOT SUCCESS DENIED BUT ONLY SUCCESS DELAYED.PROBLEMS AND FAILURES CAN BE BECAUSE OF 3 FACTORS.PRODUCT,PLACE & PERSON.THE INDIVIDUAL SHOULD MAKE A HONEST SELF APPRAISAL AND IDENTIFY THE REASON FOR CONTINUOUS FAILURES.IF THE INDIVIDUAL IS THE REASON HE/SHOULD QUIT.OTHERWISE CAN FIND OUT WAYS AND MEANS TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS,BY MAKING MID COURSE CORRECTIONS,GETTING ADVISE,GUIDANCE FROM PEERS AND SENIOR COLLEAGUES.SO AFTER A SINCERE SELF APPRAISAL ONE CAN DECIDE EITHER TO QUIT OR CONTINUE. |

This is the number one reason people give for why they leave their current job or employer. When managers are nasty, abusive, and controlling, this is understandable. There are more subtle things some managers do, however, that drive staff away. |

A set of etiquette is important for any person working in the corporate world. Many things may annoy others and many things can stop your promotion, block that appraisal. What should be kept in mind at work place? |
Do you believe the CEOs are paid outrageous salaries? |
Loyalty is better in long term. Though it depends that for whom are you working. Jumping jobs is not a solution for anything. |
