a part from providing services ,there should also be the kind of environment that guest wants in the particular hotel,i.e a kind of cleanliness,the kind of buttler services ,and lot more of addittional services that hotel shud provide which wud really make feel that yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa this is wat i was looking forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Maintaining the service standard is also a very important factor. But for this you should have a good SOP for each services, and would be implemented thoroughly. A proper trainning and trainer would always help to provide and maintain the standard of service.
Certainly the best way to attract customers is through efficient,quick and satisfied service.All the other privileges like offering discounts and others take a back seat if the hospitality is excellent.

I think by offering complimentary high-speed Internet access to the guest of the hotel. The hotels can attact more guests their hotel as business person and other common man are so addited to the internet that they do all their work going online. I guess this high speed internet access will benefit both the hotel and the guests. |

Not only High speed internet but a bundle of package can be offered to a business travellers.The business travelleres would like to have Pick & Drop fcaility,fax, a PC with high speed internet everything included in the Room price.If we can't lower the room tarriff..then one can try to give a lotsĀ other facilities on complimentary basis to attract more clients.

how to establish a good relationship amoungst them? by interacting with them an indentifying there needs.. by telling them the characterstics of each individual n showing them ur personal in particular field , offcourse all these things matter a lot to woo guest towards your company but mere having those facilities doesnt get business forever....we have to maitain our standards constant, an the has to be an consistent performer.. |

Establishing a good relationship with the guest is the most important factor to attract the guest, it will help you out to make a repport of the hotel and the individual as well and will deffinately increase the revenue of the unit. Establishing a good relation with guest will always pemper the ego of the guest.
Mr.Saurabh i definitely agree that by maintaining a good relationship with your customers will go a long way in increasing your business.It has two advantages,the first one is that those customers will continue to be your clients in the future also and the second and most important one is that these customers will spread a good word of mouth about your service and your hotel and in this way you will be able to leverage on that and gain more new customers. So yes building a good rapport and a healthy relation with your customers is an important key to grow your business.

ifĀ we say that we offer many benefits like(wi-fi, competitive rates, pick up facility..etc.,)Ā then in that case we should literary mean and provide such things withoutĀ hiding any sort of hidden costs and fooling customers... this fairness in service will certainly bring quality and long lasting customer relationships....Ā what i would like to sum is rather than saying extra ordinary things which are not real its way more better to say the truth and offer the RIGHT SERVICE AT THE RIGHT PRICE ANDĀ IN THE RIGHT OCASSIONS... I also strongly feel that in todays world, one has conceptualise the property to create a niche for itself. Either it an old existing property or a new one it definately needs to have some strong built in USP. I have observed promotors investing huge amounts in renovations or in new property but without any thought being invested. One must 1st answer the question to oneself As to why would anyone come to his property?? Just being luxurious or having all facilities is not enough. One has to have something additionaly different to woo the guests & create a niche for itself. |

yes i agree with you that, one should target kids, as it is seen in recent years, kids influence the spending power of their parents, like which car to buy which electronic item to choose, same in the case of hotels also.....so totally agree with ranbeer on this.

to attaract more guest the hotel should give better service that also at an affordable price and more complimentry facilities should be included.....should have hygeinic enviornment and must have particular theme for hotel.... |

Well, now a days most of the hotels are charging for a pick up and drop from and to Airport and if hotel guests can save what they spend on taxi, they can spend more on hotel rate... |

paying for pick up and drop serviceĀ not for all guest ,except the one who have that facility free of charge in there packages///// imagine how the hotel wud be ,if they dont charge for pick up and drop service///////hotel is not all about pick up and drop service of car ,its just a kind of additional service given to guest only when he asks for it,,,,,and then its been provided by the travel agency who works with the hotel ,,,,so the hotel also ultimately have to pay the travel agency the charges for the service.........

Today guests have become very demanding and with increasing competition it is very necessary to retain existing guests. a regular guest expects certain levl of service. Quick and efficient service is needed but over and above that what a frequent stayer is looking for is that personal touch. Knowing guest preferences before they arrive and providing them that service. Always avoid saying no to guests instead give different options. Go that extra mile and impress the guest. But for this management and staff have to work as a team. |
