How large enterprises can embrace cloud computing?

    My suggestions is that  large enterprises can go for private cloud which is dedicated hosted Cloud Infrastructure for large individual enterprise requirements.So this will help them in the security aspect also.

Large enterprises don't need the cloud, there are no economic benefits to large enterprises from cloud adoption. Cloud adoption is for SMBs who cannot afford to purchase costly servers, software and the like.

Now days everyone is talking about green environment whether it is at G-20 conference or Film Fare award. I think cloud computing is one of the best solution for green world.

What's the main aim of CC? Today lot of companies are making huge expenditure on IT infrastructure like servers/routers/power backup etc. CC will eliminate all these expenditure by allowing the company to host all applications in romote computer or cloud whatever you say. Now company doesn't require power/generator etc. and by this way it will save energy and simaltaneously provide operational efficiency to the company.

I think CC concept is more suited to the SME segement because these organisations don't have huge capital to invest in IT. They can use CC environment to host  their application. It will provide operational effeciency to SME's to compete with large corporation which could not have been possible if they have to make huge investment in IT infrastructure.  

Since there are issue's regarding compromising security, organisations can go step by step. Setup email first, then data sharing and proceed further. There is only one solution to phobia, try it cautiously. Any organisation with own data centers cannot claim rock solid security. The maintenance guys can be bought. But on a cloud ?? Large businesses need it the most, to minimize costs, being relatively secure and for global unhindered connectivity. If they don't adopt now, they'll do it later, anyhow. I wonder how many people still bury money in their backyards or keep loose change under the mattress. If banks can keep your money, clouds can keep your information. The most pessimist will be banking on the cloud in the near future. inconspicously, to avoid looking foolish.
