Youth is that section of the society who are way too easy to be influenzed, provided it should be worth being a youth icon. They are no longer influenzed my modest dressing or doing different things. Instead, they love being casual and doing things differently. That is where the real and rewarding marketing strategies lies. T-shirts, sneakers, internet(social networking sites), films made for youth, teenage models in the ads, etc. can be some of the ways to allure the attention of the youth. T-shirts can have profound influenze on them as they wear it and hang around with their friends most of the time. The films for youth or the ads having teen models paves even better and successful way to grab their attention, as that is their period to go in for 'imitation'. A survey can also help you better to explore an answer. Hence go for all that represents the youth. Be in their shoes and dance with them.

I think by creating a profile in Myspace, Face book etc helps to keep in touch with youth. These contacts can be converted into loyal customers. The profile should be made unique to get noticed by people and as these profiles are the ones creating the first impression about your business it should be worth it. Social media is but just 1 way of getting across to the young faces. While it is not the end all of advertising, it very well compliments the good ol formats of video, text advertising. One new concept is video email, which being in its infancy can generate some interest in itself. Otherwise the multiple video channels itself act as viral marketing methods.
creating a product/brand related community on social networking sites where users can add there ideas,slogans for promotion and post there feedbacks regarding their experience after usage.moreover, if someone's idea or slogan get choosed for campainge then that user can be provide with the merchandise related to brand with the slogan printed or encrypted on them.such an community would also act as follow up source/mechanism for the company...but the appeal of the site would be a crucial factor .if all these factors would be taken into consideration ,users can be motivated to stay loyal to the brand and attract non users either n can serve the pupose in long run..

, in malls some music competition, draws. Create groups of some talented youth and ask them to organize events in their locality highlighting the brand. As now a days youth influence their parents, relatives in purchasing the brand. For example if father wants Tata Indica car the youngster will influence to go for ''maruti swift''. Youth is more influenced by their peer group hence create an advt which shows that a large group of youth going with that brand. This advts will be more helpful in B class towns and somewhat C class towns. Brand should attract the rural youth as now they are also exposed to the media and having more purchasing power than earlier. Should cover, colleges, malls, multiplex, localities, societies, ( by creating group of youths boys and girls, from that area, this is based on the experience)

Nothing inspires the youth as powerful idealism and patriotism brings out action from the youth. In recent times we have seen the Jaago Re concept attract millions of youth and on the other side someone like Raj Thakeray expounding "regional patriotism" has really inspired the youth of urban Maharashtra. Let us not forget that it was the youth who turned Gandhiji's dreams to reality. Today's youth are looking for that kind of inspiration, a higher ideal than money, they want a better India, better cities, villages, civic services ... and if a campaign can seamlessly integrate these values with whatever you want to sell, it will succeed. |
