Indian government and the corporate industry should motivate and help Indians returning from other country to start their own enterprise. By doing this we can tap the people returning to India and can also reduce unemployment. When they start their own enterprise they become more responsible and help in the development of the economy. |

NRIs have quiet a good experience with the updated technologies abroad. I think every NRI who is returning back should be given proper facilities and work environment where he can work comfortably and can do goo researches. In this way, they can provide good developement in every field they are working and there is a possibility of our being overtaking countries like USA in due course of time... |

with increase in the R& D fields in every company unemployment will be reduced
Yes, they can contribute to R& D.

India should take this opportunity to tap the talent by providing opportunities and incentives to the knowledge pool, especially in the sciences. We must try and attract the best and brightest of our scientists abroad to return home and participate in the adventure of building a knowledge-based economy. |

Indians working abroad might be coming back to India. But I dont see it happening because they see better opportunities or good lifestyle. Its only because they cant afford to stay where they are, jobless. For example a professional who lost job in the US might consider opportunities in Europe, Singapore or Australia before heading home. That is the truly how it works. Considering the facts, India is far behind in providing such opportunities and lifestyle. While there is a welcome change in that area, I'd say there has to be a greater emphasis on this aspect from Govt Of India, NASSCOM, and the industry itself. On the other hand, India always had this problem of brain drain, some in terms of folks pursuing higher education and most in terms of job opportunities. The only feasible, practical solution to stop this is to provide such education and such oportunities here in India. Hope we see this happening some day soon. |

I am totally agree with points raised .
I dont think india seems to be in prospect manner. But india should change its strategy plan against the IT industries.

Although many of the NRIs may be returning out of compulsions such as unemployment or reduced growth potential abroad, most of them are enterprising & well educated in disciplines such as business management. I feel the government as well as Indian corporate world can trigger substantial employment opportunities by encouraging & facilitating the returnees to set up new ventures on their own instead of just grabbing locally available well paid jobs. I agree. Its good money these NRIs can bring in. And to what better good could it serve than providing more opportunities to natives by investing in new business ventures, research and social entrepreneurship. But all this needs to be supported by govt and NGOS. Its difficult but its possible.

a prespective entrepreneur, when enters india ,one thing that person looks forward to,is new possible avenues to invest in and only way to achieve this is balanced growth between the regions where ,one can establish itself but ,over period of time govt have centralised the financial and human development resources which is to be distributed evenly between the location hence to encourage investment in areas that are still left untapped .this will benefit the economy in both way,one in providing local employment and leverage the load of immigration that is ,so far has been beared by few urban city .moreover ,they should be rewarded(in form of tax rebates or other concessions ) for pioneering. |

As everyone knows that true winner is the one who can make best out of difficult situations(As it is known that kites rise against the wind & not with the wind).India has really shown what it is capable of by being a shining light in this dark hour.In the process it has done most difficult job of removing misconceptions about India as an inefficient state and in turn has initiated humungus task of reversing the trend of conventional brain drain . Now it is time to welcome controlled but not indiscriminate reverse brain drain with both hands and provide ample space and enough oppurtunities for these people with superior expertise so that they dont trample the opportunities of the native indians under their feet and instead creating job opportunities that will not only bring nris but also the americans qeuing to get work visas to India. What a sight and proud moment its going to be for every Indian.......... |

I second MR.Saket jain here. There is no monopoly in any field if we take the global prospective. |
Budding business owners should go virtual wherever and whenever possible. In a fledgling startup, the last thing you need to worry about is excessive infrastructure or expensive overhead. It’s already a difficult enough task to generate income... |
Nice question Nikhil. Its difficult because there are so many stages to pass. There are people to support the starters but only supporters are not enough there are lot of legal terms . There are phases where you just don't understand who would help... |
