Social networking services will replace e-mail as a chief vehicle of interpersonal business communications for 20 percent of business users by 2014. And in regard to that we are already seeing Facebook integrating its messaging services on the lines of email, which inturn will be making email look very obsolete.. |

I agree with Sandeep that indeed social networks will replace e-mail. Social networking sites have become an integral part of people using internet. This is an easy way to keep in touch and post your views to all you know at one go. No need of adding all the e-mail id's or creating a group and then e-mail. Its simple to post on networking sites like FB or Twitter. These sites can also be used for promotion of businesses, products, services and what not.

Social networking sites can not replace the email services because both has its own importunateness. E-mail has great importance in the business.
