There are many other alternatives but aggressive use of solar energy is one of the best means through which we can control the emission of green house gases. Since solar energy helps to produce electricity there is no need to depend on fossil-fuels. This also helps in economic growth because we depend on forgien countries for fossil-fuel. |

Carbon credits are a key component of national and international attempts to mitigate the growth in concentrations of greenhouse gases (GHGs). One Carbon Credit is equal to one ton of Carbon. Carbon trading is an application of an emissions trading approach. Greenhouse gas emissions are capped and then markets are used to allocate the emissions among the group of regulated sources. The idea is to allow market mechanisms to drive industrial and commercial processes in the direction of low emissions or less "carbon intensive" approaches than are used when there is no cost to emitting carbon dioxideand other GHGs into the atmosphere. Since GHG mitigation projects generate credits, this approach can be used to finance carbon reduction schemes between trading partners and around the world. |

my idea is not only by implementing the renewable sources to larger extent but also by reducing the carbon emissions from already existing energy generating and distributing methods . for example take the case of most widely used crgo cored transformers they emit GHG's to larger extent than amorphous cored transformers.we see a single transformer but when considered all the transformers that exist in our country the quantity of emissions are high and this also leads to global warming |

Wind energy should be used at all places where suitable ,Govt should encourage Pvt sector in this regard like they support IT currently |

Not only Solar and Wind energy, but scientists today are making engines running with plant juices, and water also. Recently I saw in Discovery channel. I believe this type of natural resources should be used more and more which are renewable so that we don't become afraid of the future energy sources.... |
