"EDUCATION TO ALL"
*conditions apply.

conditions: x,y,z etc.

this is the case HERE. Education should not be used in such a way that it makes a profitable business.A student, from a poor background  who studies in a local government school must be able to compete with other students who may be from international school. From knowledge's point of view everyone is common.

The  x,y,z  i.e  money, caste etc  factors are governing the education system rather than political leaders .They have well authority such that none can escape from their net.

Only one solution is not possible to control this, there may be many good solutions.

practical and within the reach of everyone

idea posted by amit kumar MEDIA PLANNER and MARKETING EXEUTIVE, DIA ENTERTAINMENT

education is the most powerful backbone of any country with the help of which we can accomplish what we really want to.  Indian education should be more practical so that it can open the mind of students to think from every prospects by adopting methods like assigning them real life situations to solve, and that too must be within the reach of even those kids who have never seen what exactly a school is all about by executing methods like each educated citizen must send one poor children to the school apart from their own kids and of-course govt. should be accountable for their well being.

we all go to schools for 10 years and read many subjects and stick to only a 3-4 at college. then after our 10+2 we choose subjects which we had never seen or read.we read them(mug up) and get good % and we act like we are all great gurus in that particular subject/field.then we get recruited in a top company draw our salary.this goes on and when we look back after 30-40 for our achievements..........we find huge well shaped zeros.then what for are we studying and what are we achieving. our education is a mere waste and to be blamed its our education system, our parents and off course ourselves."by being theoretical we cannot be practical because being practical itself is theoretical". so we should give more importance to practical knowledge and too be frank how could you expect someone to be a guru of anything by studying for just 4-5 years inside the four walls would not mean you have knowledge.everybody is good at their own work.so let us stop comparing each other,be it people, colleges, subjects, educational backgrounds etc etc. let us lay emphasis on practical knowledge. let us give more importance to practicals then we,our people and then our country will outshine.

In a country lie our India, an under developing country, the education system is in a manner that every individual must understand the concepts very much... and it is possible with practical approach only.So in my opinion the education system must be pracical and within the reach of everyone.

QUALITY EDUCATION AT FREE OF COST

idea posted by sandeep kumar B.Tech/B.E. student, College Of Engg , Anna University, Guindy

Only education brings out the talent of a human, to the so called society.

If that had been made free to all those who cant afford , right from the beginning

(1947), we would have  been a  powerful nation  in this world right now.

It is not too late, now let us begin shortly.

free education does not mean  that we are giving education to poor so let it be not standard.  It  is a  legal right of every human in INDIA to be  get educated .

Create employment potential

idea posted by sumitra dutta Consultant, XYZ

In my opinion, we should adopt a three-pronged strategy make education more attractive, make it skill-imparting and simultaneously create employment potential. Firstly, the educational system should highlight the importance of entrepreneurship and prepare students to have the ability to set up enterprises which will provide them creativity, freedom and ability to generate wealth. In addition, college syllabi in all disciplines should include topics and practicals to encourage entrepreneurship. Secondly, the banking system should provide venture capital. We need a large number of such venture capital institutions. Thirdly, entrepreneurs have to produce competitive products.

First of all the quality of education in goverment schools/institutions and private institutions should be equal. But here in goverment schools its poor.Second the one who provide education are not dedicative and in manner of service. They made education asa gud profitable business

Education Reforms---Vocational training

idea posted by malladi madhukumar Senior Manager- Marketing, Cement company

Vocational training should be incorporated from child hood  i.e., from 6th class in which ever trade he is interested , and bookish burden suvh as homework should be reduced.

Vocational course inturn becomes hobby leading to diversion of  time and energy from other negative elements that influence the student  in day to day life. The hobby at any  stage can become bread winner giving more confidence to render positive contribution to the society.

A flexible system

idea posted by Priya Varadan Independent consultant, Self employed

Education for all, definitely. But for that  our system needs to b flexible.. u cud hv children from different social background, disabilities etc.. it needs to accommodate each one of them. Secondly,. There 2 kinds of students, one who study to get a job, the other who want to explore knowledge (research r etc..). The system needs to address both

No Reservations!!

idea posted by Jayalakshmi MBA/PGDM student, Pooja Bhagawat Memorial Mahajana PG Center

The education system in India is very good and there is second thought about it. the quality of the education is becoming a concern because of the reservations. A person who struggles hard and get good marks and top rank is placed next to the person who might does not have good marks just because he has an option of of reserved seat.

This practice is doing more harm then a good. The deserving candidates who go through hardcore competition with their hard work fail to achieve their destination.

the education should be competition oriented.

Focus on Quality & Learning Curve

idea posted by Rajiv Shekhar Bhandari Presales & Business Development (U.S.), Magic Software Pvt. Ltd.

The idea behind imparting education is to make people more aware of their responsibilities, rights and duties which has more to do with practical knowledge rather than theoretical one which would mean a shift towards practical approach. Learning curve of an individual has more to do with his learnings throughout his life as many of us studying in school or college don't even know why we are learning or how it would benefit us in future and it is just in the job we could relate some of the subjects to our job or our lives.

To make the rural youth quickly employable.

idea posted by Abraham Paul Senior Telecom Consultant, FCOMNET- Future Groups

Current government policy in educational systems are suitable for elite urban elite society.

It is evident from the decision of doing away with 10th standard certificate exams and aim to make every on univerity degree holders.

It is utmost necesary that general educatidon shall be aimed to quickly make the urban and rural youth in the lower strata of the socio-economic band  employable with appropriate vocational and trade related training.

The eduction system should be such that it should be with in the reach of very Indian. In our country there are still large section of the population which can not effort quality schooling. Education should be cost effective. If the mass are educated then we can have large and qualified labor force which can make India economically strong. It will also help in a better governance.

The direction should be priortized from one end to another end.

idea posted by Satya Prakash Choudhary BD & Sales, AlphaBricks Technologies

The direction matters from the begining of a career phase and to enterining into new coming phases of student's life cycle with the surity of gaining positive and eliminating negative occurances.

The starting point of the Education is primary education which is sorrounded by different mediums like Teachers, Parents, The friends with whom one gets associated, "Electronic and Paper through which one understands new things" and Key contributor which is nothing but the rest of activities in expanding one's view of  knowing the exansion of the sky.

So The focus should be on the entry point to ensure one is going in the right direction so that he/she can set one's own vision and mission of complete life cycle.

Duty of the Government to provide free and compulsory education

idea posted by RAMANATHA PRABHU N Chartered Accountant

Indian Constitution ameneded in 2002 to incoporate the required provision to give free and compusary education to all children within the age group of 6 to 16. Reforms in this sector is just started, it may require some more time to achive expected results. For education they need not depend on their parents, it is their right by the introduction of this welcome change. In my opinion this is not enough, we have to travel a long way to achive reforms in higher education sector, this is also to be provided to the children free having merit. Present position of commercial nature in the area of higher education is also required to be removed.
