Supporting your engineering environment with improved information management can drive more effective product development and help you design smarter, faster, better and more economically.

Do you have a clear picture of how your current product development environment stacks up against the challenges causing slow-downs in your organization? If you’re seeing poor collaboration, low profit margins and inefficient processes, it may be time for a tune-up.

So, how to allign innovation(product development) with business goals??

Understand & Act Wisely

idea posted by Surabhi Sinha Project Manager, Ispat Inds

Understand the business context of how your organization wants to change and how open the organization is to transformation. Identify tangible business results you want to achieve and put the operational improvements in place to turn them into reality.

Genesis of product develoment idea should always be shared with colleagues to ensure their positive involvment in planning & implementation with a clear picture portrayed about organization's as well as individual growth attached to its successful introduction.

Over all involvement leads to unidirectional implementation for achieving amazing speed. I think creation of Nano is one good example

understand and act wisely- entirely depend on market- in turn depends on customer satisfaction. ask for 360 degree feedback from market overview. install information kioks, customer satisfaction form while purchasing the product. all this help us to understand where we lagging behind other compititors and also specifies on which part of product improvement is required.

Plan Development - Support timelines of delivery

idea posted by Makrand Bhave Marketing & MICE, WIZCRAFT International

If you are able to plan the development process given the vagaries of the people who are a huge part of it, then it is easier to support timelines of delivery. In essentiality, achieving business goals depend emntirely on the timelines of promised delivery!!

the circle wll always be incomplete till such time planning and delivery do not go hand in hand. Bottomline is to achieve the set goals, you hve to adhere to delivery!
