Proper planning

idea posted by Darshana Sawant HR Manager, Leading IT services company

Capability gaps can be avoided by incorporating an integrated strategic planning process to facilitate development of cohesive planning options that anticipates & identifies potential gaps, so that timely and cost-effective solutions can be formulated. This Planning process, then needs to be integrated to a smart decision making process that will seek to implement the outcome of the planning process. So the organizations should develop a proper plan with a clear goals and objectives and should implement it according to the plan.

Focus on strategy and outsource the practice

idea posted by Shashikant Rajak Senior Consultant, Technozone consultancy ltd

Friends, I think shifting workforce demographics, rapid changes in technology and the globalization of world economy have resulted in a shift in the way businesses operate. outsourcing is a widely accepted practice and has come to stay. Companies are increasingly realizing the benefits of outsourcing, how it helps in utilizing resources and staying ahead of competition. Outsourcing can now help organizations leverage technology and expertise to draw value of their non-strategic processes.
