Sales target is given to every sales man and success of any sales person is in reaching the target that assigned to them. During month end every sales person will be busy running here and there for reaching the target. But many salespeople lack good sales closing techniques.how to beat sales target?

Correct follow up helps in reaching sales target

The most effective strategy for beating the sales target would be by doing follow up with each and every potential customers. There will some customers who are waiting for a sales persons call as they don't have time for purchasing. Correct follow up would increase the sales there by beating the sales target.

Try to cross sell

In my opinion a sales man should try cross selling when he is closing a sale. Explaining the client about related products would create interest in the buyer for buying that product also. Providing discounts in cross selling would make the client to purchase more. This would help to reach sales target.

Understand Consumer Behaviour

Here we are talking about sales not marketing then it is simple just try to understand the consumer behavior that what are the requirement of consumer. Because sometime he/she need or looking for another thing but we are selling other. Just try to read what exactly he want to buy. If you don't have that product just present your product in the comparison of other he is looking for. More work out on Followups & references. Hard work is key of success.

And if you have many products or doing marketing then always make good relation with your existing clients. Regularly keep in touch with them although you are not selling product in every meeting. But relations leads to a good data base You can redeem any time with cross selling or any new product to them. Smart work is key of success.

I don't think such things exist. But we have many training institutes and consultancies which help you in knowing yourself better....
No it is not... train yourself as per the requirement in the industry... then you will not find it difficult.....
