Be uniquely valuable

idea posted by Sunita Mohapatra Product/Brand Manager, Tata Motors

Is very important to be able to define some ways in which you can be uniquely valuable to your customers, and then communicating that unique benefit in a way that’s easy to remember and clearly understandable. The bottom line is that perceived value is what creates loyal customers who will choose your product or service.

You are right Sunita. It depends on the uniqueness of the product, the uniqueness of the CEO, the uniqueness of the marketing strategy as well as the after sales service.

Be clear in your offering

idea posted by Archana Kulkarni Strategic research Executive, Tam Media Research
The customer should be clear about what the company is offering. It becomes easier to remember the brand name as well as relate to it, when the offering is clear in the minds of the customer.

In a world of marketing the dumb products and expecting customers to be even dumber, it is refreshing when a brend stands - for itself.

See for example "Urtekram" products. Their strongest position is made with products that have a very short list of ingredients which ends with "and nothing else". As a customer you can rely on a product that has a short list of recognisable quality ingredients, and you feel good when you buy it.

Add your argument:

Selection of channel of distribution

idea posted by Paul Sureshkumar Manager, Selvan Marketing
It is a service oriented product, concentrate more on service. Best selection of the marketing ie.distributor, dealer, C&F, etc. A right person will promote a good product. But it is not easy to give a good product with an idle person/firm.

It's totally depends on the target group to whom we are going to satisfy the brand and the end product, the utilization of the target group,Once target group satisfy with the expected out come than defenitley they will go for the repurchases,Repurchases mean we are building a Brand Image. specially noticed in FMCG market most of the companies success in this manner,eg 'Anchor'Milk powder in Srilanka, this company selected the channel of distribution to reached to the target group in a easy manner offer the quality as they expected, now holding a Market Leader position in Srilanka.

Brand Ambassador

Having a Celebrity Brand Ambassador help to build a strong brand image especially among youths.

But, the brand ambassador should be such that his personality must be well suited with the brand, and must bear a positive image among the masses

Because the quality of a brand (power to increase preference) is determined by its location, clarity, and intensity in the prospect's and customer's mind-space.

It's not enough to be clear, unique, and consistent.  Preference is the name of the game, because preference increases chances for purchase (and therefore, revenues) more consistently.  The positioning must seize and own the highest value ground available in the customer's mind.

Associate your brand with something Unique

idea posted by Ravi IT PMO, Cricket Communications

Common thing among all top brands is that they become synonymous with the product itself. Consumer will inadvertently remember the product when the brand name is mentioned to him.

HIGH PRICING

all those are great points... but trust me... WHEN anyone says the word BRAND the word that comes to there mind is EXPENSIVE, CLASSY.

Make any awesome product u want, give it the best connection to the production...but price it low, and evrything fails....

Postioning is directly related to Price in any buyer's mind :P
