Brand Mallya! Isnt he great for a study? I think he is! His skill set: His thought process! His strength: His belief in his thought. His achievement: Global brands under Indian Flagship UB! He is an epitome of everything that has the signature called Lifestyle! When you see him on the screens of your Kingfisher flight, you know he cares! When you drink the brands that he has so lovingly created... You go olalalalaleyoo olalalalaleyoo! And why not... He has that flair to entice, he has the confidence tocarry it and he has the charisma to venture into it and support it! I am in complete awe of that guy called Mallya! I await the Kingfisher Calendar every year! :D |

I agree with Makarand, Brand Mallya is the perfect word. the way he has carred his group it reflects his attitude and his own style take it from beer to IPL, it has a perfect Mallya touch, he hardly speaks or shows off but he knows how to carry and promote his brand. This happens only when you have complete faith in yourself. Makarand now you need to manage to copies of the calender. :)
Yes makrand you are correct that Brand Mallya is Great & this is because his Brand development activities are not in persuasive manner. Brand development activities doesnt mean direct activities for increasing sales volume but most of the Indian companies still mix these two different things. Whether the use of Blogs or Multimedia if Brand development is done by persuasive manner than it only ??????..
Even i agree with you Markand that the name Mallya itself is like brand now...whatever he does is a style statement, the guy loves his Cars, horses, cricketers and finally his women ( the calender),
whatever he does is having an impact for his brand...and he is very successful at that..from formula one to IPL and whole lot of things at his hand.which nobody can do and he does it with style......

Brand refers to the name, logo, positioning, images, and - associations and experiences. To understand the brand building process - think how each and every action of Vijay Mallya is to ultimately win more customers, markets, and entrench the brand further in the psyche of prospects and customers. He is the ultimate brand builder of contemporary India. Brands are built only through multimedia activities. This way the connect with the prospects and customers very deeply. |

Mr.Sunil has made a very good point. Moreover the more number of times your slogans, logo, stories, colors, themes, values and other elements come before your intended public, the greater is their effect. When prospective customers also see that image on magnets at their friends' houses, on tote bags at the day care center, on thermoses in taxicabs and on the uniforms of the local softball league - then it's really starting to make an impact and that is very imp[ortant to fit the various images of your brand in the minds of the consumer.

When there is recognition of values in terms of utility, price, popularity, mass acceptability & preference, and performance of products, services or concept, whether commercial or not, a brand is born. |

I think a blog can be a great way for you to position your business in the eyes of your customers. Writing and posting relevant articles and your thoughts on the company blog can help you demonstrate that you are a leading authority in the industry and allow you to engage with your customers. Let your personality shine through in the tone of writing.

I agree that Blogs could be a great tool to build and maintain your business, and build some good customers. Please note, that you'll find companies using Blogging as their websites. It can be done with success.

Employ those who can cooperate, can understand the customers need, what they are looking for. Once a customer is ignored at the counter or treated poorly on the phone or on the sales floor, you've lost not only that person but everyone else that hears about it. Word-of-mouth can help, but it can also hurt. Provide a good and pleasant customer service.

See that your customers aren't disappointed with what they find with your product. Make sure that you deliver the same as you advertised and they should refer your brand/product to others.
