Consistency

idea posted by Anoop Mishra Sales/BD Manager, Patni Computer Systems
In my opinion to build brand equity effectively, companies need to know what they want to communicate. Consistency in brand communication is very vital as it's senseless for companies to have different messages for different audiences when information is readily available online. It's the consistency of those messages that builds a brand in people's minds. So companies better be careful on what they are saying is consistent, knowing everybody's got access to all the information nowadays.

I will support consistency. In my opinion, consistency in the modern day business environment is always aiming to become better than the best. The consistency should be on all the parameters like quality, promotion, innovation, new technology, and so on. Out of all the parameters, promotion plays the key role. All the factors like quality, customer service, innovation have become a pre-requisite . Consistent promotion is the one which distinguishes No 1 from the others.

Relationship

With consistency it is also about creating a link to your customer. It is critical to understand that the all important first impression is the primary catalyst for building a relationship with the customer. It's the relationship that builds brand equity. A relationship built not just on being aware, but on being involved.
