How to change our judiciary system?

Judgement time should not exceed an year. I know a year is a long time but still cases take more than this to shut close. The maximum limit for judgement to pass must be fixed and all efforts should be made to take the right judgement. As the time limit is fix and some judgement has to be taken perhaps the other units associated will also speed up their process.

Starting from the Magistrate Court to the Supreme Court, many posts of judges are vacant. At the same time, the number of cases being filed is increasing at a rapid rate. This makes the judicial machinery grossly inadequate to deal with the cases. Hence, an urgent need to fill all the vacancies.

Deadlines should also be set up to wind up the cases within a certain period of time. This will push the judges to pursue the cases without delaying them unnecessarily.

At present, judges are not accountable to any body in the discharge of their duty. They should be made accountable to some specific body for their conduct. Blanket immunity is not desirable for anyone in a democracy.

Everyday we find contradiction in the views of Judges in the same bench and totallty opposite views in a higher court on the same case. It has become common for the higher court to rubbish the deciion of the lower court. How can be the law in judicial system can be different in different courts or when handled by different judges.

We can overcome this problem by using Super Computer to arrive at decision based on all facts and data related to the case fed into it. This will help to remove the bias, ambiguity, delay, corruption and expenditure in the judicial process.
