If you are chatting or adding friends online, do check their name with their e-mail id. Most of the genuine people keep their name as their e-mail id. If you have a doubt in the e-mail id don't respond to it. The best way to be safe online is to chat or get connected to only persons whom you know.!!! :) |

It is not that much easy to check the authenticity of the friends avilable online.Becuse fake mail id can be made, forged mail and phishing can be done during all the process of making friends online. To know the legitimate friend u need to have quesition answer session should be to authenticate. passkeys can be effective in this case.

As most of us have experienced before, sometimes it is quite difficult even in face-to-face, real time relationships to determine whether or not someone else can be considered a real friend...much less depended upon for anything crucial. Part of that problem lies with ourselves...with our own perceptions and unrealistic expectations. And so, as we might imagine, trying to do such a thing in the digital age via a "machine" out there in the ether with all the legitimate commercial agendas at play, to say nothing of the spam-scams and phishing expeditions, is an extremely difficult proposition to say the least.
Is it impossible? Probably not, but still the legitimacy and authenticity of friendship requires the test of time...and probably a few mutual crises...before any prudent person would rely too heavily on the relationship. And that's even when we're dealing with one another "in the flesh".
However, if you're determined to seek, find and make friends on-line you need to go about it discriminately and with a healthy amount of skepticism. And so, yes, you need to ask questions...a lot of them...probbing questions...and even then be alert to too many "right-on" appropriate answers. Also, you need to be prepared for disappointments.
The bottom line is that attention is the key element in all human interaction and it is next-to-impossible to either focus your own, much least perceive the authenticity of the other's, by means of a "machine".

Hi What I think is by chating & checking their mails we can check the authenticity of the friends online. In many cases the online friends can make us fool & they never writes the informnation right in their profile. So by chating u can findout their authenticity and how's his/her character is you can easily understand by ther mails i.e. Orkut, Yahoo etc. |
