How to Combat Terrorism?

Having a no tolerance policy towards terrorists is the only solution, even if it means our forces crossing the border.All the terrorists should be shot in full public view, and non-performing politicians in crucial positions should be immediately sacked and tried for murder.

All I believe is that it is all politicised. All of us are being targetted by the international politics that goes on between the nations. Speaking under the light of Indian & Pakistan relations. All of us know what all is happening and it is best to stay put on these actions and you will understand what I am trying to say here.

i had seen a debate at ibn7 'no hate no terror' that really inspired me to write for this.it is really very easy for all of us to blame govt ,politicians &other prospects that r out of our control.but do we think about ourselves.what is our contribution for this issue.'if we are not a part of solution than we are a problem'How do we react & behave  to the people around are  we giving them a reason to hate or love.think........& execute

The Policemen in Colaba Police Station did not do their job immediately on receiveing reports of rubber dinghy by the Koli Fisherwoman on 26th Novemebr in Mumbai; the incident was reported at 0800PM and they investigated at 1000PM by which time the firings had started at Taj and Oberoi

Since the people who have suffered from the attacks, or who have been victim in various ways, or who were hostages and now alive.. their stories are well elaborated by media, and Govt. officials true picture came into scene.. so to combat terrorism, I believe, is to learn first - how these attacks were successful?and then action towards them, to create tight security and surveillance, and take all measures to prevent any such attack in future..!

dear communites we can overcome this problem, if only over govt takes a iron hand steps. we should stop all the economics scource from india to pakistan. In our boarder if some one tries to enter the military action action and fire them. But in front off our eyes there was an attack in mumbai, and we found the terrorist and keeping them for investigation. We all know pakistan is responsible this action . We asking them to accept. My view is that we should fire that pakistani terrorist to give pakistan a lesson...tahts my view....  or we should attack pakistan is there is no result for the non voilance steps of india....

Before trying to erase the terrorism from the country we have to erase it from our heart and own home, society, state. Then we can think about a major change.

Route cause of terrorism is our and peoples thinking THE NEGATIVE THINIKNG.

To be able to root out inefficiencies, corruption and  gaps in security environment, having vigilante concerned citizens is absolute necessity.

To fulfill this: Compulsory National service must be initiated for all especially those opting to enter politics or government jobs.

Who says we are not capable of combatting terrorism ? But the question is who is sponsoring terrorism in this country?if we have the answer to this;the problem is solved.  If the ruling party is heding to some success in their endeavour the opposition shakes its administration or vice versa blaming it on terrorism. The recent bomb blasts were in all BP ruled states what does that indicate?.

 It is as simple as that if I have continous instances of burglary taking place in my house I just keep mum about it and wait till my whole colony gets blasted. How can we be insensitive to such issues. Like Israel and other countries the terrorists and the people involved in propoganding them should be publicly executed but then the problem is will this happen because some one from the country is hand in glove of their entry and operation.

To stop the terrorism , the best way is to be one  . . .

Like rabbid dogs bite anyone who comes across, these terrorists killed innocent, unarmed people.
It is believed in all the religions & cultures that the worth of a mans life is established at his death, how many people feel the pain that his family felt, How is he remembered for the generations to come, do people feel proud to say that they were close to this person after he's gone.The media should also highlight this difference between the deaths of our solders, policemen & those of these terrorists.
While our solders were given a hero's respect, their death mourned as described before, friends, family & acquaintances proud to have been close to them, on the other hand, the death of these coward terrorists was more like that of a rabbid dog that they behaved like. They will be missed by none, people ashamed to have been related to them in any which way.

Its the resposibility of the media to show this difference so that young boys who are llured by these devils, know what they are trading for!

The poor, minorities, and traditionally discriminated suffer disproportionately and this has dangerous consequences.

As any competent policymaker or entrepreneur knows, the short-term response to a crisis is often different from the long-term one. India must honor the memory of the brave policeman who died by revamping our security ecosystem and explore action against Pakistan with US support. But we must also create equality of opportunity for every Indian - Muslim, Dalit or poor. After all, an uneducated, unemployable or unemployed Indian is not a free Inidan.

Under the pressure from US with US fund for tackling terroism US allot billions of $ to Pakistan. But pakistan will utilise those US fund against India indirectly by recruiting innocent muslim youth in the name of Holy war of Islam and spread terroism not only in India but against US too with their fund.US make pressure to pakistan to have a cordial relation.Publish in media and both of their representative sit infront of the world media and both of them will shake their hand and leave that is the only meaning of combating terroism in the world. I agree with the above two ideas entirely. But these will be treating the symptoms. The root lies in, us terrorists or not, having a feeling that the Government is not taking care of welfare of people ( not dole, I'am talking about infrastructure, equality unlike Robin Hood,etc..) . But the fact remains that there are all the provisions & financial arrangements made by the government just that it is looted by our corrupt politicians & beaurocrats.

We need to fight corruption.We need better leaders, visionaries. That will instill Patriotism in us ( yes, we do lack it in practice). We all need to cast our votes. That will make the difference

yes, it is essential to identify root cause, to my understanding  the causes are both internal and external ..indentify vested interests of individuals and organizations at internal and external levels and deal with them appropriately with commmitment is necessary.

terror activities can only be curbed by bringing in effective tracking system ,so that real culprits can be identified and hunted down .consequently ,it will tame down the undertrail trauma fazed by those who are held under suspicion and have to go through poilce extortion and interrogation which negatively  motivates them to avenge for the sufferings they and there families have gone through .it will on other hand ,spoting those who are involved directly or indirectly in providing space for crime .apart from that local police or authorities should organise training workshops for civilians so ,that in situation of crisis they can come up with their support  both in terms of skills and efforts  and shed the tag of being a passive spectator or needy helpless people who have to always look upto army or other combat forces (though it is their responsibility)to take the first step forward.

I don't know what we should expect from our government which is failing so badly but my appeal is to have a way to minimize damage from future terrorist attacks and to create a smarter, more durable infrastructure. I feel we should have:

We should build our infrastructure in all those means in which we can prevent such attacks.

Don't kill but disable him for life sothat the terrorist dies a slow death.

OR  administer him thallium.

Telecast live the process of slow & painful death on electronic channels .

I SWEAR BY THE NAME OF ALMIGHTY THIS WILL CAST A DEADLY SPELL ON TERRORISTS THEIR GODFATHERS.
