Having a benchmark interms of quality

idea posted by Pragya Kothari Construction-Heavy, DLF

I think this plays a major role in garnering many outsourcing deals and just by having good qualtiy interms of work that is done in this scenario is not sufficient, having a benchmark interms of quality work done here is what sets one different from others, Quality can take many shapes here in the sense it can be attributed to many things, and not just the work alone, so if one is ready to do that extra bit in their work and show that kind of commitment in their work, and this will surely make them different from others, and will also create that loyalty towards them and will make sure you are on the top of the list for the outsourcing deals that are going to happen...

Yes we are pioneers in producing quality outputs.

Yes we are great at our communicatiional abilities.

Yes we have great managers who are experienced enough to visualize the need of west.

Then why shall we drink the water which were already tasted by west. Why shall we be eager to find for nices in their malls.

All these are just because of 1$ is equal to rs 50.

Our education system and all ther systems are manufatured by west to cater west's needs but not ours. Thats y we are no 1 in getting outsource works.

Providing better talented workforce

Entire outsourcing jobs India gets 70% of jobs are Human resource oriented as the fact is other countries does not depend on India for technplogy but largely depend on skilled Human resource at cheaper rates which is scarcity for countries which outsource jobs.

If this is true we have to concentrate on jobs like designing, modeling, estimating preparing contracts and similar jobs where skilled human resource is available in India with littile or no training can be readily used for such jobs and creae potential employement.

To some extent equipment & components manufacturing can also be an potential area.

Yes providing a better talented work force is necessary, where pepole should train to get strong domain knowledge, better comunication skill and there should know better co-ordination procedure. In addition to this our team should focus on in-time delivery of services and also try for the inovative thing.

Improving communication medium standards

idea posted by Anjali Bhatia Construction-Heavy, Sobha Developers

The basic thing where the indian construction outsourcing industry lacks is the problems in communication between the main office and the construction venue because of which many a times the end results doesn't come as per decided. I think we have to still work a lot on this area so that our construction industry also can become equally competent in international standards...

Find a "niche" in which your strengths are more likely to take, so to speak ... Be different than others !

While others have spoken very validly about Quality benchmark, better talented workforce and improving communication standards ... along with these, what is required is strategy based on individual strengths and focusing on that :

Principle 1: concentration of forces on the potential strength, the reduction of fragmentation
Concentration is the condensation of energy. Explain what you do best and what you can offer your audience the greatest benefit. Find a "niche" in which your strengths are more likely to take, so to speak, They develop a "leader". Be different than others - you build from your strengths.

Principle 2 Find: The most effective point
Explain what are the greatest and most urgent problems of your target group or partner. For these specific problems, offer solutions. Demand is not the average power in as many areas, but the peak power on your specialty. Enroll yourself as a "professional" and not as Bauchladen dealer.

Principle 3: The Minimumfator (congestion) are                                                             Clarify what needs to be done to solve the problem of your targeted audience. What is the deciding factor ? How justified are the bottleneck?
But they also clarifying what is your own constraining factor. What prevents you personally in your growth?

Principle 4: benefit orientation rather than profit maximization
In the foreground of your thinking and action should have the benefit that you want to offer others. " "Anyone who increases the benefit of others, even gaining the most."
What is the basic and the additional benefits you offer your audience, your partners? what you offer compared to others? If you want to make money, you have to serve first.

After all the ideas it's essential to complete the work in scheduled tjme .It is an important part as time is money, lesser time for complrtion may reduce overhead expenditurs and thus make us competative in out sourcing. Ialso aggre with pragya ji's idea
