Yes Templates help lot along with the technical review. Also the technical review should not be in a random way but we have some specific checkist againt which the document needs to be reveiwed.

Improve the technical checklist Have a checklist for technical accuracy of all procedural steps, screen captures in the document. |

To manage technical documentation maintain a check list to verify the technical accuracy of all screen captures in the documnet and focus on the techincal facts. Also have a check list for the procedural steps included in the document.

One way to improve accuracy is by building accountability into technical documentation review process.
This can be done by adding technical reviewer and author to the documentation. Including author and reviewer name promotes communication with the staff. |
