Check with a structural foundation contractor if your problem concerns basement walls that bow inwards. Prevention is better than Cure.

(2) The Analysis of the Foundations and design as per soil conditions and make the Foundations solid. Be rational and liberal in deciding the Foundations keeping the budget in view.
(3) If Problem already started Seek for the Advice of Concrete Rehabilation techniques for strengthening. Very Limited Consultants are available in this field. Don't Go for Vague suggestions and It is giving medicines without Knowing the Diagnosis. Take Suitable remidial measures based on Individual Case.

As Ms. Bhatia said we have to be very careful about the foundation every aspect has to be seen and calculated carefully like soil type, underground water pressure and height of structure, Once this is determined then there should not be any problem. The foundation has to be water tight, treated for termite and proper compaction to be done to minimise structural movements. That's all... These days there are many products available to help in improving the founadation quality and strength.

The most important aspect of fixing the foundation is stability analysis. It aims at removig the possibility of failure of foundation by tilting,overturning,uprooting,and sliding due to load intensity imposed on soil by foundation being in excess of the ultimate capacity of soil. |
