Everyone needs to show that he/she is different and can do things which others cannot. But as everyone is at it, most of people put lot of effort in doing things. Personal productivity graph always needs to go high for this. What can we do improve our persona productivity?

Mr. Rajeev, I endorse your view. There is no substitute to HARD WORK. Time Management is even more essential (how to pack 48 hours in 24 hours)! What I fail to understand is "PARTY HARDER" - is this "PRETTY HARDER"?

I support for Mr. Rajeev's view!

None of the above. My answer is TIME MANAGEMENT. Time is money. If you value time, time will value you. And the fifth option is a big no-no. My motto is: WORK HARD, PARTY HARDER.

Get up early

idea posted by Indu Thakkar HR Manager, ONGC

This  might sound odd but this is true. You are most productive early in morning or say if not early then be as late as possible and then stretch yourself till late night. Both will work well and get rest when needed. Listen to your body and not to people or patterns..

Love your life and live with it

idea posted by Aries Brune Tyson Software Developer, iGate Global
you know what, productivity is purely based on the person's mood. if he is happy, the productivity will be somewhat better. but if he is in very bad mood, probably the productivity will fall to 0%... When you are trying or doing something, love that... obviously that will result in high productivity.. instead of thinking of increasing the productivity, try to love the work and do it... there you will find the result...

Under adverse circumstances, some people break records & others break down. It is a mark of character how well a person behaves when things are not going well. When things are going well for us, it is easy to be logical, but when things aren't going well and we are under a lot of pressure, some people can't think clearly & snap at others around them, while others remain logical/open minded & continue to treat others with respect. Adversity reveals a person's Character.

Wonderful thought Aries, really appreciated. When we are in no mood of doing anything we just do not do it..and if we are compelled to we cannot do it the way it has to be.. Thanks for putting in your idea :)

Without a clear focus, it’s too easy to succumb to distractions. Set targets for each day in advance. Decide what you’ll do; then do it.

Withhold the fun, at least for a while

idea posted by rajesh Programmer Analyst Trainee, Cognizant Technology
Some people like to listen to music while they work, others keep an eye on news. If you like to “treat” yourself when you’re working, don’t, at least in the early hours. When your motivation starts to flag that’s when a little music can provide a needed boost. Each treat is like a personal productivity bullet; shoot too early and nothing is left when you really need ammunition. Whatever typically carries you through your workday, hold off on it for awhile. Delayed gratification is always better gratification.

Consistency

idea posted by Akshay Shrivastava software Engineer
Whatever we do in our life, we must be consistent in our approach. Usually at the beginning we give more than 100 %,But as time goes on we loose our interest. And due to lack of interest we fail to give our best shot.We should put best efforts throughout.

With sound planning and subsequent execution successfully can only enhance one's productivity. Managers are for getting the works done nor for getting involved himself or herself.Getting the same may require request, politeness in voice, command in voice and threat from you as and when required.

Decide how long you will work

idea posted by rajesh Programmer Analyst Trainee, Cognizant Technology
Don’t plan based on, “I’ll work as long as I can,” or “I’ll work as long as I feel productive.” Set a concrete target. Commit to working 12 hours or whatever period of time you choose. Then the longer the time frame, the quicker the early hours seem to go by. When I worked in a factory we typically worked 8-hour shifts; time before lunch dragged and the last couple hours always seemed like death. During busy periods when we worked 12-hour shifts the mornings seemed to fly by. Something about knowing you’ll be working for a long time allows you to stop checking the clock; it’s like you naturally find your Zen (work)place. When you know you’re in for a long haul your mind automatically adapts. Trust me — it works.
