Now a days there is a huge traffic on internet for online sales and purchase. More and more people are doing e-tailing than retailing these days, people now can get anything and everything with just a click. And these days many are venturing into online for more penetration than the traditional way of sales which was happening, but there are many things that one needs to take care of sales when things are happening online. So people what needs to be done to increase Online sales in this regard? pls share your views on this........

 Landing page which is highly communicative and with attractive graphics will attract more customers and would increase sales. Images and videos should be used as they are able to convey concepts that are absorbed in an immediate way by passing logical analysys. Customers will be attracted to buy product from the site if they get complete information about the product what they are searching for.

One of the most important factors that will encourage online sales for consumer products is trust. Especially in India, customers will need to get re-assured that the virtual entity is real, products are genuine as claimed/displayed, status of delivery can be verified online and the payment process is simple & safe. Experience ultimately is the best instrument of change hence anybody who wants to be sucessful in this format needs to attract custom by offering genuine incentives. The success of online travel agency is a benchmark to emulate!

Indian consumers are different from their counterparts in USA and UK, for an Indian consumer to pull out the CC and pay online is not as easy as it seems.

To push someone over so that he/she pays for your product online, most definately you need a landing page that talks about the product in detail, add images and videos if available.

Something that all major brands miss on their product specific landing page is user reviews.

Add reviews about your product be in hosted inhouse or embed from 3rd party sites like moutshut.com etc...

And ofcourse a quick checkout process, from the moment the user clicks on your ad (product specific) to the user paying the pages / steps involved should not be more then 3 or else you might lose out.

According to me views, as the Online Trading is from both who are just connected but not met, there should be servicing and delivery windows of the goods traded on line at the end users end to create more faith and authenticity and also for to be more transparent in case of goods damaged or exchange etc., things like that.  And also by marketing the qualitative goods and services on line, one can retain the trust worthiness and confidence in one's goods and services sold on line i.e. retention of the customers

According to me our online Indian markets are not sophisticated to the level of other countries comparatively still people prefer to go with Ads that comes thru print media like news paper and air-media like Tv/Radio this is because only metro cities that too only 20 – 40 % in urban area’s also using online or internet as shopping or online trading center the reason behind this is quality of the products delivered & trust on online media

Since not only big corporate but small corporate and even small business people should use online media to promote their products this is will definitely slowly bring trust among the people and also will yield many to promote their products

 

And this all can be achieved by animated graphics, cartoons, colorful Ads, video which will be equivalent to “air media and print media “when this type Ads promoted with all this reqrd details about the particular products details which makes a common mans decision easy to decide about which  products he wants to go according to his need .And Due to this facility time consumption is less which is most significant concern of any man in India and this will make more effective online media marketing to overtake the normal Ads a head in few quick years

The major pitfall in online sales is that consumers can't see the product in person before getting it at their doorstep. So, the communication of the features should bee clear cut leaving no scope of abiguity. Further the product display at the net should be very attractive. Further, the delivery should be accurate in terms of person, time and product.

I think the best way to increase online sales is by retaining customers. This can be done by sending of informative contents, with a link to our website for further reading to those who have already visited the site. This will again bring them back to the site and will increase sales.

This the best way of increasing online sales. Any person who buys the product online should be given monetary benefit for spreading word of mouth or referring people to the website for purchase of product online. A product purchased online is a virtual product unless it reaches the consumer physically.So, there is always doubt on the quality of the product. In this case, word of mouth is the best way of making more and more people make online purchases. The referer should be paid commission for every product that gets sold through his/her reference. This way a dual thing happens....more and more people take part in referral program and the online sale also increases for the company

If you are attracting thousands of traffic on your website, it doesn’t mean you are able to sell your products and services until and unless that traffic is classified. To attract classified traffic, you should focus on your niche market rather than focusing everywhere.
