Agreed.
But had it been so easy, all seriously managed / published blogs would have enviable Google PR and Alexa ranks.
All in all, we firmly believe that at the end of it all, the QUALITY PARAMETER that a blog maintains, is the ultimate denominator to a blog's true meaning of existence (money earning angle notwithstanding of course!)
Readers like to visit and revisit only those blogs which provide them quality stuff (though once or twice a week) rather than those who lace their daily stuff with link-baits, honey-traps, etc. etc.

Also, it depends on the topic that you are blogging on too. To get repsonses out of the blog, you need to conform to the ideas of popular blog topics and then the viral begins!!
