Though we are seeing a steep rise Mobile subscriptions on a regular basis in India, but how many of them really know to use the device in a full fledged manner, I mean how many of people are mobile literate in India, even many of our parents & Rural people don't know to use properly their phones apart from basic things like finding the contact and calling them, and there will be many features in today's mobile which they don't know how to use at all, they will not be knowing how to change the settings of their phone. So if we want to make mobile devices more accessible, we need to have a common interface in which everyone can use easily, even if the person is disabled or illiterate one should be able to use the mobile device easily. |

As i Know recently many companies have got together in India in R&D to design low cost phone of less than 500 bucks which will only do calls not even sms.... this mobile can be given on subsideries to rural and improve upon the using ability of illiterate villagers.. and slowly improve upon the features friendly only to them. |

We can provide the help info in mobile so that anyone who is not able to access its functionality he/she can take help from that help info.In almost every software we have that 'help' info so mobile should also have. These mobile might exist with help info in different way but should be more information provider... |

Have tariffs bottomed out in the telecom sector? |
Completely agree with your Mr. Paul...that India is totally becoming banana republic, media is getting news before the government organizations, everything or anything happens in this country and nobody is held accountable, and that is the sole reason... |
