Before going for the option of outsourcing the management should do a survey to find out areas where they lack. They should be clear about their weakness & the ares where they need support. This gives the service provider a clear cut idea how to formulate plans, in other way the work becomes easier for both the parties. |

I agree first know what is to be out sourced , then decide how vendor will be able to do that job right and then you need measures adn ways to moniotor the effeciancy, accuracy and TAT
This should be supported by training and updation of present and any new process
Further to strengthne the vendor relations which is also important there should be reward and recognition at regular intervals also say every 6 montsh , this can start after successfully running operations at vendor end for say 1 year

Locating the perfect vendor is the key. Even if make the detailed survey and study on what to outsource, if you cannot find an appropriate vendor things are not going to work, Well, effective communication definitely improve the happenings |

People are insourcing and outsourcing. Changing. Some are becoming more entrepreneurial, matching the agile pattern. A consulting pattern is to engage and mesh into the changes then meet the changes. The solutions will lie along spectra, some kinds of approaches. And things will continue to change. A 'perfect' solution will only match a subset of the needs, if only because people learn as they explore, so they change. |
