According to me this is the first and foremost thing as content in the website is the one which drives the SEO, so first comes the quality of content. Just think Why Google is leading the search engine race? Because it has always been really successful to offer the best results related to query that satisfy the users. So better is the content, you are ranked higher on the search display result list.

yes i agree with vivek, quality content is the one which drives the traffic to the website, when you don't have quality content in the website it is of no use.. so quality content will make the website optimal for search engines........

Big players like Google and Yahoo, These search engines allocate a page rank to all web sites ranging from zero to ten. The higher is the number, the more traffic will divert to your site for any given keyword. Thus to increase the page rank, get links of those few sites which have high page rank on top search engines and also limit the number of links going out to other sites.

backlinks are one mechanism that indicate a website's popularity and relevance of content. More backlinks help improve the ranking of the site.

usually search engines assemble while displaying your site for a query is the snippet description attached to search string that prompts user to click the link or not. While searching for something, they also click some of the displayed result link and leave some. they also decide on the basis of snippet description attached with that query.
so this will make sure that your website is used optimally. |
