Understand your Boss and his problem.Help him if required.
I agree with this, one needs to put some efforts to understand the boss and his purposes/objectives, if they are not explicitly communicated.
To know your Boss is the key to taming a RED HEAD Boss. A Boss is also a human being. One needs to understand him, read him, his/her ways of work and then speak his language to get his support and understanding. It is easier said than done. But you need to do it if you want to survive in his team. Like you cannot choose your family, so also you cannot choose your boss. Once you have understood his ways of work, it will be relatively easy to work with him. Take on this job on a priority basis so that your remaning time in the organisation is easier and you can focus on your job for which you have been selected to do. All The Best

Yes, keeping his needs @ the center of our OFFICE universe is the easiest option to maintain the relation with Boss. Boss is always right, even if he is wrong follow the same so you are enough safe from firing :) Actually you can also give your inputs in his decision but that will not give anything in return.
So again remember "Boss is right"

This is good idea to keep his head busy with other work so that he/she have less time to fire you.

The important points have already been covered by my friend. However I have one more point to put forward. You will agree with me that if you help out someone in need or in trouble times they will remember you and will try to help you out. Same goes with boss also. As boss has to address multiple responsibility and work so sometime there might be some annoying or uninterested work of the boss which you can take care of. It will not only lead you to learn some work but also smoothen your relationship with boss. Try it out!

2.Do not go to yr Boss only with problems, Go with solutions for those problems..
3. Place before him your ideas, as his.( AAP KA IDEA MERE DIMAG MAE)

Boss doesn't like to somebody coming to him with a problem. Go to him with multiple solutions and he will chose one and starts liking you, since his burden is reduced to a greater extent.

boss becoming red head boss is because his subordinate making him to be irritated by doing mistakes, so first find out what will make him irritate and what he dont like,what he is actually expecting from you, first find it and try to do it and also try to satisfy him.if he pointed out any mistake means try to accept it.if you do it means you will have good relationship with him.

Red head boss as I understand is someone who is either not competent or suffering from psychological imbalance. Boss can never be red head, he has to get his work output from others, So if Boss is red head make him glow “signal red”, if he is the owner of his business the shop will close, else he will be shown the door, in my career I applied this therapy, I quit that organization before the boss was thrown out, as I did not want to sit on the shit!! Today’s world is survival of the flexible which makes you fittest. |
