Youngsters today are experiencing high levels of stress. Stress is as much a part of teens lives as it is of adults lives. While the sources of that stress may be different the consequences of it are, at times, the same as they are for adults. How can we reduce the level of stress in youths? Share your idea guys.

It is very important to be in a comfortable environment. We spend around 10-12 hours a day at work and so it is very important to do the kind of work that we enjoy. As it is, projects are mundane and we tend to get bored with the daily chores. Without passion and love for work frustration levels would mount drastically. It is not always possible to get a job with our areas of interest but we should all keep in mind not to comprimise for a job where money is the only motivation.

Also, socializing with the associates at workplace will help us in having a chilled time at breaks. With mutual support we get to help and learn.

Hi Sravanti, well said I support you. Its true, if the youngsters enjoy the work they are doing and create themselves an environment which suits them will help to reduce stress. So this can be done by having some get-together and free time at the work place.

Extra Curricular Activities & Friday Dressing

I think there should be encouragement towards the Extra Curricular Activities like Dance, Music, Fashion, Theater etc. So that apart from the regular Stressful work, the candidate can also  Polish his other talents & in this way he or she can attain a level of Satisfaction.

 

Also, there should be Concept of Friday Dressing, this is also quite a Stress Buster for the Modern Day Youth.

Extra currirular activities such as songs, music, playing games, spending time with family, friends can  destress.

Counselling

Counselling could help to understand the reason for depression and sort out practical problems. We must talk to the doctor or a counsellor regarding the problems and get help from them. And even we can do creative things like writing and drawing different forms of expression other than talking, to reduce stress

Relaxation

Relaxation activities are the best ways to reduce stress. It induce a state of relaxation, happiness and enjoyment. This can be achieved by playing music that sounds jolly and fun to hear. Even watching movies that raise the spirits and stimulate and fill the herats with happiness and enthusiasm. It will take the minds of worries and tensions
