I support this idea along with this I prefer to increase page ranking. For you have to make more visitor of your web site or blogs.
I support this idea as search engine optimization can help us to take the control of the results

The most important step in managing our online reputation is to determine what type of information is available about us online. We can post contents on other blogs, which can take up some of those top ten spots in Google for our name. Becoming a content creator will help us take charge of our brand. |

I would agree with this, as in the long term the only thing that will matter most is how many other reputed websites are pointing to your article/URL/profile.
Create Timeless and useful content which people can appreciate and talk about.

One need to regularly check for the websites which google displays on top first and second page for the name search. Google updates its algorithm regularly and top page list of websites which was most visited for the same name. Websites which list your articles or resumes on Google should be regularly updated. If you won't update it regularly, person with same name will start appearing ahead of you. If you have a website with your name, it will certainly appear on top page. However it is not possible for most of us. One should create profile on websites which displays the name in the URL like facebook, linkedin etc |

I agree with is statement. The only way to prevent personal information is to keep on regular check on the Google and modify one's information accordingly. Or else one has to be in internal contact with Google which is not practical. So, better to keep on modifying one's own information in those sites whom Google is showing on the first few lines...

In my opinion, one way to take control of the results is by owning or renting web properties that carry our name. Blogs and social networks allow you to do that. A blog allows you to continuously develop content under a single URL. As the blog generates content, Google will be pinged and rank it higher under certain keywords. Make sure your blog, in some way, connects to your name. |
