To stop terrorism from taking roots in Pakistan and then by spreading it to allover world strong selfless collaboration is required. As the situation of Pakistan politics is not stable how can we expect the selfless support from Pakistan but if US & India try this, the selfless efforts can bring the peace.
i think selfless collaboration will happen if USA stops playing with both sides. India - pakistan differences of opinion are now 60+ years old. Very soon it will become an accepted fact of life if it has not already. That would be sad.
We desperately need to work with pakistan and resolve this so that we stop spending money on arms and divert it towards wholesale infrastructure development.
Unfortunately the inrenal affairs of pakistan are totally out of control. From what one reads in the papers it is not even clear who is in charge in various parts of that country. I am not sure if the US can do much. One needs a stable platform first before springing for greater heights of peace.
May be that is what US needs to do. Assist Pakistan in getting control of its own country first.

your view appears good only on paper as it is practically impossible. We can not expect US to HELP India to come out of terrorism. You must be aware about the fact that the US gave birth to terrorism long back. US still funding Pakistan millions of dollars and Pakistan utilizing money for terrorism. so i feel its enough if the US stops giving funds to Pakistan.

US is often seen to be playing from both sides. On one hand, they say " we will fight terrorism" and on the other, they provide paki with the arms and ammunations, and don't say a word against paki's support of terrorists... It is high time they stood firm on their words, and started taking actions bravely. A bit harshly said... US don't chicken around and try satisfying both ends. Do something to actually fight terrorism.

US can help destroy the Terrorism by stopping the insider trading and supply of arms and ammunition to the people without investigation into purpose...
US psychology revolves somewhat around ,"If I Don't get paid, How do I know Its Important?"
So it does all that gives it financial gains...
It Should Be a bit more Human...
The question is not how but question is have US will to help India against terrorism?

The question could be rephrased: Why should US help India in destroying terrorism in Pakistan? I believe India has to look to its own interests rather than expect some other nation/s to help it look after its interests. Things don't work this way in realpolitik.

US will continue to support Pakistan government to fight terror in Pak and Afghanistan and it will indirectly arm those who is opposed to India. Our region will become unstable and both China and US does not want India to become Strong
Yes, India Should not seek any support from USA. They are even not trusted people on earth. They created Taliban through Pakistan and when - their own creature-baby is fighting against them, they give them status as " Taliban" or Terrorists. Please Note that USA had attacked Iraq for no fault of Iraquies. They never helped us when our Plane was hijected in Dec. 1999,look consequences- their own planes were used to destroy them. Why should US help India for fighting terrorism in Pakistan? Why shouldn't, if at all this has to happen, US help Pakistan directly?

Only support through arms to India and must ignore what ever India do to destroying terrorism in Pakistan. As we keep quit in Srilanka when they try to destroying tigers. |

A fact US knows and fully understands is that terrorism is here to stay and can be detrimental in creating imbalances in strategic relations globally. Talking of same in India that's originated from Pakistan, the best thing US could do is stop producing and supporting Headleys. Not a big thing to ask for and its high time US realises that terrorism is too weak to shake us INDIANS even if they are to keep the production unit on. |

USA is not known to help anybody. India would do well to help herself. For doing so, India should take following actions : 1.USA should forget the theory that, Pakistan's enemy is terrorism and not india. If Pakistan to using terrorism as a hidden weapon against India, it should consider India as enemy No.1. 2.India should not wait for action till another 26/11 happens. Should take proactive measures and crush the plans for terror attacks at the point of origin only. India should have secret network for that. (Such things, eventhough may be happening, will not be discussed). 3.India will trace the finances of terrorist organizations (narcotics trade) and crush them. It is known that, Dawood derives his power from underworld activiites in India. 4.India should once prove to USA through actions that, India does not wait for his help. If India will keep on waiting for USA for help, she will make a laughing stok of herself |

Dear madam, I could not understand why should US help India.....,because it cann't. Terrorism is their product only and their stand in this matter is very much doubtful. They have their own strategic plannings and partners. Why should we expect them to understand and help. What ever they have done to root out terrorism is because of the fact that things went against their interest. You should always remain capable within yourself to protect your own interest.
