HOW WE CAN REDUCE THE RATE OF INCREASE IN GLOBAL WARMING?

Plant Saplings as far as possible because it will improve the level of ecological improvement like any thing. First and formost thing from side is plant the trees @2nos or more per persons of your family.

To fight with Global warming Awareness to be developed among good citizens of the country.

Government should enforce energy auditing to all industries at least once in three years, failing which their business shall be penalised even to the extent of disconnection of all facilities like Power connection,Water connection ,Drainage connection.

Government also enforce tree plantation by the project owner against each project to equalise carbon credit.

Although i want to support Be natural, but believe me i am the one who switch on the ac during summers......i think the first step to atleast slow the global warming is to stop deforestation....we have to tackle with the mafia involved in illegal cutting of trees.....although there are many states who have declared many forests area as green area in which any kind of tresspassing can cause  legal trouble ( the only thing i dont know is if this is seriously implemented)....apart from it we should buy electronic products by looking at star rating ( subjected to Indian market only)....more the stars less the power consumption or greater effeciency. Then we should start walking.... yeah walking ( although  i think i am being a hypocrite here) ..... we should not use cars for the distance which we can walk....in short what i think is if we save energy ( Which may be in any form) we can tackle the global warming.....

Laurie baker and associate architechts have done marvelous work in creating hollow walls that are thermo-insulated naturally and ideal for India. Yet there are not many takers simply because it requires better levels of coordination. 

Rightly said.To emphasise more anybody planning to make house provide Budget for Solar Cells on roof or in terrace or in open yard if available.

Also make practice to carry out Energy Saving

1)       We are constructing High rise buildings , why we are making Overhead Tank for water at the roof for a building of 30 plus to be used by ground floor dwellers causing wastage of power for pumping of water and creating unnecessary high pressure at lower floor water taps creating frequent failure of taps and inconvenient handling of water when tap opens.

2)       Keeping roofs unexplored from solar energy which receives solar radiation i.e. use of solar cells, solar geyser, and solar oven to extract the waste energy and minimize fuel bill , reduction of electricity and gas demand.

3)       Cook food exact to the requirement and to avoid surplus food , surplus food is required to be preserved in refrigerator and then again to be heated before consumption.. It will save electricity to a greater extent.

4)       Use always Pressure Cooker at the time of cooking and take only measured amount of water. More water means more energy / fuel/ gas consumption.

5)       Clean all light bulbs regularly to remove dust which reduces illumination and causes unnecessary  loading of heat to the room air conditioning

6)       Keeping the cooking burner always intact to cause efficient burning of fuel. Also mirror effect to be made in the bottom of burner so that heat radiated out in lower direction can be utilized to some extent.

7)       Whenever Pressure cooker whistle blows ,.Just sim the heating  , and keep the cooker out of heat and do not allow to whistle  On every  blow of  the steam  lot of energy get lost in the form of Latent Heat i.e. 530 cal/gm of steam vented over and above the temp. of the steam

8)       Room light to be divided on two categories one for safety, in connection of personal movement ,by CFL lamp of lower watt , and using of table lamp for attending task at task point.

9)       Using of white paint in the outside of the building/roof in such way ,which can help reflection of solar radiation and keep the room inside cool reducing A/C load.

10)    Using glass panes of windows with reflection films or polarized glass to reduce radiated solar heat entering to the room through window glass pane

11)    To keep the dwelling house doors and windows air tight to avoid any entry of outside hot/cold air to keep the room comfortable and thus reducing load of A/C .

12)    Use of ceiling fan is cooling the ceiling , and radiating its own heat whatever it is generating. ,and also transferring heat of the ceiling to the floor.( Specially on the top floor where roof is exposed to Sun.  Low watt table fan at the task place is important substitute.

13)    TV stand by consumes energy. Hence it should be switched off when not in use.

14)    Car needs continuous cleaning to avoid carrying of extra unwanted mass which ultimately reflects in car fuel.

15)    Take car fuel exactly as required if possible daily ,that reduces extra carrying of load . Avoiding of putting luggage over the roof of the car , it creates wind age friction and reflects on mileage as well as draws attention of  street rowdies from a distance to make a false target.

16)    Air cleaner of automobile is an important component and it requires continuous attention Choking by dust causes suction  pressure drop and increase the loading of engine. and reduce mileage

17)    Running car at high speed keeping window glasses down , causes more consumption of fuel due to parachute effect .
