My take - Next "phase" of the internet would be the widespread adaptation of
the semantic web with the sharing of user
data between different sites.

I feel that the whole "ubiquitous" thing people are trying to get happening will be web3.0. Cell phone apps and mobile pcs with people interacting with each other and bringing online collaboration to the physical world too. |

From current interactive state to intuitive state where computers and machines are able to understand and link pieces of data
automatically is what I think Web 3.0 could be.
