A look at a convicted rapist's personal background may lead us to believe cultural deviance has an effect on men and their perception of women. Raising a child in a delinquent environment may result in the nurture of a rapist. On the other hand, psychological disturbance is a claim many rapist's use for their reason of assault. Many convicted rapists may think their maltreatment was due to a psychological disorder, but in reality was perpetuated directly from an environment that produces juvenile delinquents. I support the idea that a juvenile growing up in a culturally deviant area will be subjected to criminal lifestyles, and could learn deviant practices, patterns of behavior, and norms. Being raised in such environment will lead one to participate in aggressive sexual acts such as rape. The social conditions that make up these areas are physical deteriation, economic segregation, racial and ethnic segregation; a high incidence of social ills Delinquent environments may deliver these stereotypes to their citizens, and these stereotypes are the result of rape. if he becomes aware his girlfriend/wife is cheating), mental illness, unemployment, divorce and desertion; and a high rate of dropping out of school. Many male rapists may believe their maltreatment was due to a psychological disorder. Men who have been raised in thinking this stereotype is correct may sexual assault a women and then use various "techniques of neutralization. |

rape to kill and to make the victims wish they were dead. feelings at the time of the rape include shock, a fear of injury or death that can be paralyzing and a sense of profound loss of control over ones life.its a shame for mankind.

India is still safe I would say. US nd EU take the cake in sexual harrassment. Thats solely because the dressing sense in these countries is independent of the male emotion. Iys very female oriented. The number of these kind of cases in India are miniscule compared to these two parts of the world. In India women will still be SAFEr than abroad because the INDEPENDENT STREAK in women here is much controlled than there. Anyway the judiciary helps in the women being more powerful and being more proactive in slapping the LAW on the man! We in India are still safe! |

Spoken like a true chauvinist. !! So now women must dress to please men, and if we dont you will rape us! When judiciary intervenes by passing guidelines/laws to prevent sexual harassment at workplace, you feel threatened by it. If only more women could come out and speak about their harassment at workplace by their bosses, who in most cases are men with typically rigid patriarchal mindset.!!
