As the single website is giving a lot a things like photo uploading and sharing plus networking, playing games, so instead of signing up in different sites people are using the same site for different applications.

apart the age bar kids below 18 yrs also join face book they use this site only for chating and share their view

Well, there are many reasons. The best of them being.. "More than 60% of Indian youth are working outside their hometown where they dont know anyone, but because of the social indian culture they need some medium to be buzzy and be social, and facebook gives tham a platform to rollout their thoughts and discuss, while being at different places"
