Yes Sujit, the club following is already started with many of them cheering for their favourite teams or supporting their city, this is a hegely popular concept in football and Baseball, but with IPL it is also catching up with cricket, where one can see different teams merchandise on offer, where before only Indian team Merchandise was available, so it was good to see people turn out in their favourite team T-shirts supporting them...so this club format brings whole new business concept, where people have found new ways to make money for themselves and players also.....

I like IPL because of the innovative and new format of cricket where players from all the different countries are put together in one team and how they trying to build camaraderie among them for their team's cause.It is very interesting when players of different countries are celebrating the fall of their own countrymen or thinking of strategy as how to tackle the bowler of their own country.This is something very new to the cricketing audience and it is definitely a great spectacle to watch. |

cricket itself is a passionating sport starting from traditional test cricket and its transformation to ONE DAY internationals all have enjoyed its different colours.undoubtedly, cricket itself is a big sucess in sub-continent. this IPL / 20-20 has won all hearts because of its compactness i.e., entire game will just take some 2 - 3 hrs and fastness in all the compartment of the game is liked by most cricket lovers. |

For me the biggest thing about IPL that it able to have such a huge fan following is the combination of sports and entertainment.Not only the cricket is so competitive but the glitz and glamour of bollywood stars,involvement of corporates have added a unique zing to this tournament.Its been able to catch the attention of the normal public in a big way and the people who have not followed cricket in their life have been attracted towards ipl like anything. |

These are two different issues. There is no point in mixing them up. They might not be willing to remove corruption but the case of temple treasure has nothing to with it. |
