A classroom can be made innovative with the various ways by teacher's taking steps to teach the students with Audio Visual method so that the students can understand what they are being thought in a clear way. A technique of virtualisation can be used if a student is India he can be thought with the help of the video by a teacher from any part of the world. this would help the students. |

I agree with sheetal's point here.
@Anirudha : No doubt such all things are happening but the problem is with its reach. People in many villages are still far behind in education. So we have to make all these technologies accessible to each and everyone and only then its true purpose is met.
People are already using this. There are lot many management courses provided by IIM/IIT and other top colleges where teacher is teaching student with the help of video conferencing.
Yes this coupled with above points and other measures is a very good idea !

Teaching children can take place through multi-media such as language, pictures, and specimens. Adult education can rely on more reflective methods such as participative lecturing and discussions. So there is no standard mix of teaching aids in the classroom. In general, communication through multiple means could be generally better than relying on a single medium.

I agree with you. We should leverage the immense power of IT in imparting education.

Our children learns much faster than what our teachers are wanting to teach. They have inherent latent talent and assimilates knowledge about every subject from whatever sources they get. They have all sorts of electronic gadgets at their disposal and they are privy to all necessary and unwanted information. The teaching community thinks that they are unfolding something new, and restricting their inputs limited to the syllabi, whereas the students are aware much beyond that - thanks to advent of channels, viz., Discover, National Geographic, Cartoon Networks, so on and so forth. Our education methodology is so slow, otherwise our children are capable of (say at least 60-70%) of finishing college at the age of 16 or so. Not an exaggeration. The policy makers do not want to churn out more graduates at the age of 16.

Office Etiquette or Office Manners is about conducting yourself respectfully and courteously in the office or workplace I have noticed that as we go from college to the real corporate world it is hard to get used to a different environment.... |
