It is found that interest rate charged by banks on education loan is higher than rate charged on other loans. Although education loan accounts for almost 5percent of loan portfolio, but still it is being charged at a very high rate. should the banking sector not think of reducing the rate of interest as many students are still not able to afford it.also the procedure for obtaining the loan is cumbersome.

To-day praises are never heard ... Banks in India must be praised for making available cheap and timely Education Loans 2the students. These laoans have helped / is helping so many students, most of are not from affluent parents to go in for higher education. Mind : the loan is watched by RBI. The conditions are so student friendly ( .. and U may feel how much dearer are these in advanced countries ) one of which is that : " The Interest rate is simple rate of interest " .. ! .... details awated |
