Good afernoon every body , I am Vikas Bhaskar Btech and Post graduate having2 years 10 months of experience in System Integration Engineer Platforms,. Experience working with mid-range and High end servers in my views we can not compare these two categories freshers and experienced because freshers becomes experienced and industry trust on experienced professional |

It depends upon circumstances. A fresher is ready to compromise with any circumstances since he has no choice. On the contrary, an experienced person has lot of experience in the field but is of more demanding nature.
Good question. First of all I feel that campus interview and recruiting of freshers would definitely benefit the organisation as the youngsters could be taught and moulded as per the organisation culture. Secondly the excitement and the enthusiasm that they have would lead to better performance and a zeal to shine in the field that they have been recruited for. This in turn would benefit the organisation on the productivity front.
I am not at all against recruitment of experienced hands but then if the freshers are not given an opportunity (there is no dearth of experienced hands in our country at least!!) to work they would end up taking any job that comes their way (again might not relate to their interest or aptitude or their qualifications) and they might end up stagnating thus blotting their career with frequent job hopping in search of "the dream job". Thanks.

as the recession is going on we think that hiring through campus recruitments can give us the quality people at a very lower rates. this will also not affect the employement. what are your views? |

In my view, performance matters. Whether it is Campus recruitment or Non-campus recruitment. But the only benifit of campusing is, one does not have to struggle in searching jobs everywhere....
Yes Jagdeep,
I am completely agree to your thoughts.
Again its an oppertunity to discover new talents and enhance them.
Yes jagdeep this is a tricky question, if you go for only freshers through campus recruitment then you may get really good candidates, but experienced guys are also required its like both have to be complemented with each other, just because there is recession and if one thinks that you'll be saving a lot of money by investing on freshers than the experienced guys that will not help and gargi is right that you'll loose out on some of the talented professionals who are really needed.

the company owners ( the great indian marwaris) {{{and not the employees ( directors , ed , vp , gm etc . etc .)}}} should directly recruit prospective employees . no campus recruitment please :: employees should prove their worth in the market first :: |

Its obviously beneficial b'coz we can explore the new and fresh minds with lots of innovation and dreams.. Its also a gradual solution for the unemployment scenario which is seen nowadays.

Firstly,Campus recruitment forms a bridge between Academician & Industrialists. Secondly, it boosts the morale of students & motivates to pursue studies more confidently.Thirdly, it is a means to spread the image of the Institution & the Industry. Hope I evaluated it correctly when recruiting "RAW & EXPERIENCED in campus." |

I want to have an apple. can i satisfy myself by having an Orange? Hmm.. maybe if i dont have any other option but given a choice i would rather have an apple because i want to have an apple. Feshers Vs Experienced is purely dpendent on what is the time scale you can for them to start delivering and if you have a good training system in place. It's not about head count. It never is! It's about productive assets. Freshers are good to keep the assembly line running so that talent is being prepared for whenever the load incraeses but if the deliver is imemdiate will a fresher be able to deliver ? Not really!! Campus recruitment is beneficial for both recruiter & candidate. the recruiter finds it easy to get the candidate of desired qualification. also selected fresher candidate can be trained as per the requrements of the organisation which inturn is profitable for the organisation as a whole. on the other hand, for the students like me who are pursuing MBA & other professional studies it is difficult to search for a job, which we actually deserve, with much of struggle outside the campus. |
