Addictive medium in different ways

idea posted by Sandeep Sharma Team Lead, Infosys
I am sure that just about everybody who reads this now, knows someone that has to a more or lesser extent symptoms of addiction to the internet, games or computers. Perhaps we all do… How much time don’t we spend behind the computer screen typing and gaming away? How would your day look like if you didn’t have your cell phone? I think most of us would agree that definitely its an addictive medium,

yes it is addictive,

i am loosing on my business i am concentration more on net.i am loosing social contacts,i am loosing sleep,i always have a compulsive instinct to come and see email and write to net friends.i want to play net interactive games all the time.

it help me kill my free time.it help in creating face less friends.long distance friends, you could relieve your self of lots of the questions in your mind.it is a good diversion when you have nothing worthwhile to do.

we should learn to restrict the usage of net.long hours and useless surfing could be avoided.take more efforts to socialise in the real life.

it make you alone and maker you more loner, most of the time you are on net to find people and you are cut of from the rest of the world and you become more loner, make you depressed.

Add your argument:

Both ways.

Who take use of internet while it is required then it is useful.otherwise for those who used to e.g.TOO STEP members it isaddictive.

The use of internet is addictive be it for a specific purpose or fun. It gives you everthing u want.. so its upon us weather we are getting addictive to it for our use or we are using internet tobe addictive for it

Add your argument:

Useful more than addictive

I feel that internet is a medium which is useful in more ways than look at it as an addiction. There is a number of work that we prefer to do via the internet than do manually. I feel that internet should not be termed as addictive , rather the usefulness of internet needs to be given the popularity
