We keep on exchanging a lot of Ideas and opinions on this social network. But if there is an opportunity meet once or twice in a year, I think that will be great fun as well as useful to one and all. Mr. Raghu' idea has been greatly appriciated and welcomed by all. The only addition that I could make is to suggesst a Regional or local users Association, where users from a region can meet and interact with each other, say once a month, and an annual National Conference where all users get to interact and build on relationships. Also I would like to suggest Contests/Awards for various communities on Toosteps, such as 'Best Business Idea' for the 'Entrepreneurs community, or 'HR Person of the Year' Award for the HR Community, etc. |

I would like to propose that the regional/local user meets also have an entrepreneur boot camp to help entrepreneurs and wanna be entrepreneurs.
Veterans could offer advice,new ideas, suggestions and feedback --the three components that are just as important as funding.
If we can get the process started up soon, let June's focus will be "The Art of Pitching," with the following topics. General discussion will follow, and, bonding and camaraderie are always a part of the process. Getting others to believe in your idea is the most important job of any entrepreneur.

I don't think, Because it has been long time since we are bloging on the TOOSTEP meeting idea, but never got any results. If we are really interested than I would suggest to have the final dates of 14,15,16 August 2009. What we all have to decide is which place ??? What you all say on it... |

How will this meet be funded? Money is required to make bookings etc. What happens if a member does not show up but a booking has been made for him? |

what i feel .....this flow of thought for user meet international , national and regional is passing throught evry toostep members.. not only place but even date was decided but till this time we all are just unaware of "what the mangement of too step is thinking about it."... so this time i want to know/hear something or some idea for this kind of event from them... thanks to all... |

One thing that immediately comes into my mind is that there could be community level seminars in the 2-day event. The inaugural event brings about people together. Then they choose which community level platform they all participate in throughout the day. Care should be taken not to overlap community meetings where one person is member of multiple communities. He should get a fair opportunity to present in all. The anchor is the one who has floated a community (he/(or the members) can bring in the best persons in the community as featured experts. Members can contribute (1 week before the event and allow voting to take place) specific points for live debate during the get together - say 10 best voted topics. We can allocate two sessions of one hour for each of the ten topics with voting. First session is general debate and second session is for recommendations (we want our ideas to reach outside toostep platform with due publicity). Second half of the second day - the concluding session of the meet shoud first take up the ten specific points and recommendations in the general assembly. Next it should take up the outcome of community level proceedings and recommendations. The concluding ceremony should then be held. This could be bi-annual as well. Bangalore and Mumbai are good places. |
