As per sharia the Riba(interest) is prohibited for the Muslims.The Banks can work on the basis of interest free concept.Investor deposit money, share profit & the people get loan & bear the loss.

Islamic Banking is really a great concept but unfortunately it is also misinterpreted by some people because the word Islam irritates them.

In Islamic Accounting we can learn about MURABAHA, MUDHARABA, MUSHARAKA, ISTHISNA, IJARA, SALAM etc., which are using in Islamic Bank.

Islamic banking is a very much misunderstood concept. People need to understand that since Islamic laws say 'No' to interest, they take 'profit' for making deposits and take 'loss' when they take a loan.
