Bus and walk

idea posted by Darshana Sawant HR Manager, Leading IT services company

I have always used public transport and I walk when it is necessary but now this seems to be the only option. Wasting money on petrol looks very difficult now and so does wasting money on mew vehicles..

Best way to walk or use public transport. walking daily is good for health. and using public transport reduces the traffic. i have sen people using the vehicles for silly purposes, what is the outcome or benefit of doing so. is that showing their richness or it that indicating their ignorance.

The idea given by Ma'am Anna is quite right that after few days nobody will bother about it and they become used of it.. But related to me I will prefer public transport and Walk when it required as Ma'am Darshana is doing.. I think if everyone only think of urself that "I will not use personal vehicle, when their is walking distance". I feel it definitely works to cope up with this problem.

I would prefer Bicycle, infact I did keep it as a new year resolution to go to my office (18 km one way) but could not fullfill. For those whose office is closer, this option works better.

Mr. Ajit,Tanima does not mean to say that to use bicycle for go anywhere. We can use bicycle if the destination is not far away. Use of cycle helps to control our monthly expense, its good for health also as well it helps to reduce polution. From my point of view, Indians should make habit to use bicycle.

We people in India have a weakness, if we found any obstacle on our way of path, we will make a new path around the obstacle whether it be difficult or not. No one will try to remove the obstacle to clear the path for him/her and others. This is what we seen here.

Rise you voice against this. And show what we common people can do in this country.

Use own vehicles sparingly and judiciously

idea posted by Mohammad Bakhsh Consultant(Civil), Rail Vikas Nigam Limited
It is my belief that fiscal adjustment will continue to cope with ever increasing prices of crude oil.Our 75% requirement is met by import. We have therefore to use our vehicles very judiciously. Use vehicles up to City bus terminals and railway stations and further journey bus train or buses. Where approach is not available for buses and railway station, use hired taxis, autos, etc.

parents need to understand their phychology

idea posted by Namrata Chauhan IT recruiter, Pinaki Consultant
As i think moreover the student commit suicide due to pressure of expectations of their parents and not prepare for the failure so this is the whole sole responsibility of their parents taht they teach them about the failure too along with the success. so that they can able to accept that easily to and dont make any condition in there life. the parent should teach them and support them so than they can take things positively.

Better Public Transport

idea posted by AnujSkumar Product Developer, MetricStream Pvt Ltd
One of the good way might be use public transport. Last year Karnataka government came with a campaign that 1 bus can reduce the 40 car, and its true, if government is providing the better public transport than we should use that instead of using private transport....in this way we can reduce this problem along with traffic problem

use Public Transport system

idea posted by Srinivas suravajhala Asst. Manager.
It is always better to use public transport system. But, many of our cities dont have the proper Public Transport systems. Even if you are not in the vicinity of PT system, use two wheeler upto this PT point, park your vehicle go by this PT system to your office and come back and go by your two wheeler back to home. Driving long journeys on a two wheeler has many effects. Using your own four vehicle for long journeys particularly to attend your office is sheer waste. There is no guarantee that you can reach office at least on time, because of the traffic jams.

Own a Petrol Pump!

idea posted by Saibal Ray SQA, confidential
Why? You can own a petrol pump and make good money out of it. You can reap the benefit of price hike and the frequent bandhs esp. in Hyderabad.Surely if your office is kms away, walking would be a foolish option and cycling would drain you before you reach office. So, instead get ready with a pump and pump your way through the price rise and pray for a bandh every now and then.
