Blame all these smartphones or the thousands of applications which run on these mobile phones, people are forgetting their etiquette when their mobile devices are in tow, according to a recent survey commissioned by Intel.

Also 9 out of 10 adults in the US claim they have seen people “misuse mobile technology”, the survey found. And 75% of the respondents said mobile manners are worse now than it was in 2009.  So, which mobile manners irks you the most??

Texting or typing while driving

idea posted by Puja Sarkar Software Developer , Softpal Technologies Pvt Ltd

For me this is very dangerous, than looking at the road people look down to their mobile phone and text and I will be like scolding the person who will be doing this while driving their car and will infact take their mobile away from them, which will be a biggest distraction and this is a bad habit and one should not do such things while they are driving they are jeopardising not only their lives but also lives of others who are on road or are on  another vehicle on road.  This manners of their mobile usage irks me the most.  Talking on mobile phone to some extent is fine but even then that is also dangerous, but texting while driving is like pushing it too far.......

The mobile telephone is appx two decades old in our Country, we are yet to learn the the etiquette to use the same and on top of that with the young generation the mobile telephone is a must. So it will take time before we learn the etiquette to use the mobile phone.

Calling or talking loudly...

People quite often act as if they are the chosen ones to get a call or can call someone. They talk so loudly in public places that it irritates you no extent. Its akin to honking from behind knowing well that traffic has come to a standstill. Worse is doing the same thing in a foreign country unmindful of the people around.

Often this is seen that peopel lack etiquette in terms of how they should use there mobiles. Its damn irritating when people speak loudly anywhere in public places and some of them are so shameless that they dont even stop at religious and pious places.

I mean how disturbing this can be people will be watching a movie and suddenly a mobile phone starts ringing, and people dont have the manners to keep it in the silent mode and on top of that they start speaking over the phone and disturbing others in and around them, such mobile manners irks me the most.
