i agree with Raghunath.
In our country , the rural population (accounts to 65%) is even deprived of BASIC NECESSITIES like Water , Food , Roads , Education , Still people relying on Agriculture & allied activities ,
No FMCG Companies have direct Distribution channels ,
( Unilever beening addressing this issue , with thier Project Shakthi )
No IT Companies nor Government will promote or emphasis on the quality , Free Computer Literacy programs , No Learning happening , then how will the rural population know WHAT AN INTERNET IS .
Rural People are more interested to Know WHAT Government will be going to do for them in respect to Food , Agriculture , Education , Sanitation , Roads & Transportation to catch up to the expectations of city Life .
It hurts when our consitution say " WE THE PEOPLE , FOR THE PEOPLE , BY THE PEOPLE " , Just becomes a Song not more than that !!!
Still i m pleased at the efforts showed by some corporate giants to take up at least one village & trying to Keep them up to the PACE OF THE WORLD . Gujarat is one of the prime Examples of Transformation of Standard of Living , It shows daily improvement in all the sectors , one of the fastest Industrial growth promising States , may States have to learn something from them .
I Conclude by saying " Basic Necessities Achieved , Then the Flow of Communication will automatic Flow through INTERNET ."

This is one main reason why Internet has not penetrated Rural India, As still basic electricity and education has not reached these places and how can we expect people to know about internet, also many in Rural India believe, there is no use of internet here, and also the mode of accessing internet in these places is still cyber cafe's and Internet parlour's not like Urban cities where there is Personal computers, or what we can call is there are more internet accessing tools more in cities than in Rural India. |

As we know if one needs to learn all then they have to have the devices and other facilities like power etc., and if anyone needs to implement this then they need funds as many channels are required to connect so i say its slow in rural areas. |

Good information sir. Black hat , white hat.. I never knew hackers had good side too.. Thanks.. |
Hackers are at it in full swing. There next stop was Apple.. AntiSec hackers group stole 26 user names and passwords .. The hackers announced the attack on pastebin, a file-sharing website, where they also posted a link to a server used by Apple... |
