Watching any news channel is becoming boring and instead of getting meaningful news we have to watch repetitive programs highlights of dance shows, comedy shows and even Home shopping programs. Instead news channel should look for more meaningful news? Where is the Investigative reporting in news channels these days? India TV launch was made happening with some daring shows to get instant popularity..now they are just repeating same news 8 times a day...Aaj tak is also more focussed on getting under-garment advertisements than on quality news...NDTV , NDTV 24 x 7 also do not have any special programs to watch... In such circumstances do we really need so many news channels?Share your views on how to the news channels should make the news meaningful and worthy of their efforts...especially in Election times. I suggest they should have a Good program which highlights good work as well as no work/bad work done in various cities and states by the politicians...

Yes we need that No.(s) as we all have different thinking, so every channel will be presenting in their own unique way... that will help audiance to understand in a simpler way...

There will be more News channels and there will be more advertisers on these channels!! The channel will always survuve. As long as the ad spots are being sold the channel will run. Sensationalism by these channels is the major strategy that gets them catch eyeballs. And why not?? They have a channel to run, people to pay and keep the content pouring in!! If the content is controlled and a uniform policy for viewing can be established I think there would be a pleasing buzz that would go around the viewers and channels would then be watched for the presenters of the show/news rather than the sensationalism being created!! |

News Channels now a days used many tactic to grab eyeballs, they trying to pull out some contraversial news in which common people are interest. Are they showing news or they selling news :). |

Yes, I agree ! But it is a necessary evil. We have to filter the bad news and watch the one that is good !

we definately dont need such news channels.the news channel like aaj tak , ndtv, zee news etc are mend to be ran for 24 hours. in such case it is difficult to find relevent content to drag the attention of the people for whole 24 hrs. therefore all rubbish news like how a man saved his land or dog or cow are featured. many people wont listen to such news. Also many a times its has happen that the news went all wrong n potrated a innocent as a culprit. these news channels also take active intersest in glamor world and make a huge story out of simple statements made by the celebs. If they fine anything which can gain a lot of attention they just ran to those stuffs. Journalism is not something that goes this way. the best news is at durdarshan at the specific time which had important content and nation news. rest all are jst a part of gaining TRP. thats it. so its better to tune our tv to the single old dardarshan channel and rest all should not be watched. |
