Binge drinking, bad diet and lack of exercise are the reasons for hypertension, which increases the risk of strokes, heart attacks and kidney problems. There are also a number of factors that can contribute to higher blood pressure including smoking, lack of physical activity, obesity, an unhealthy diet and excess alcohol. It's important for young adults is to recognise the risk and take action by managing their lifestyles carefully. |

Thanks Mr Kiran.Life style today has really changed the whole concept of living,we are constantly under stress. Unless and until we slow down BP, Diabetes and other stress related disease will become a part of our life.
Yes Kiran simple and healthy life style are the ways to get rid of BP at early age. I think the youn generation are geting consious about it now.

As day to day life have become very hectic, the human being needs some simple exercise to overcome the tensions

Be cool at any moment; Do exercise frequently; Don't get more tension at any moment (Whatever the things are going in right/wrong). Once we practrice this things, we dont get BP.

Why you do what you do? is an aspect almost lost to most involved in a RAT RACE. Stress to remain in rat race can at best do harm to body and purpose. It is essential to distinguish Goal from Resource to live a meaningful life. |

Correct diet , low sodium, regular exercise, meditation, yoga etc.. and similar suggestions are as much required and should be part of life for all individuals yet they are at best preventer's and not the reason.
The reason is unwanted stress, rat race and so on that is preventable through understanding of purpose and reason.
Abraham commented get out of pressure cooker.............Why get in in first place unless unavoidable would be even better.
A child is never stressed unless in pain.
An adolescent starts to get stressed to compete and excel in peer group.
A grown up enters into one-up-man-ship race and invites stress.
Fear of old age stresses as the man gets older.
Most of the times they are self induced and without reason.

Nowadays every one lives inside a pressure cooker. Our parents fondly put us there when we are about to walk. Schools simmer us trying to teach evertyhing under the sun right from our toddler days. Competiton boils us during our job hunts in highly competitive and limited opportunity job market. Employers & their HRM squeeze us to get the cream out of us and find ways to throw us out, as we start panting. The profiteers strip us with artificially hiked up prices and kill us slowly with adutrated products. The richer class contaminate the earth and blame the poor us for that. The government's shoddy planning make the life of all of us miserable. The shameless political lords and power mongers pour venom all around us in the name of am-admi, religious and regionalist fanatism and make us all crawl with shame. Those of us immune to all these survive in the end. So the best method for youngsters is to develop immunity in every aspect of their life. Yoga, meditation, exercise, jurisprudent life style, or whatever they consider fit. They are their own masters and better leave it to their judgment, what to choose and how to achieve it. OK- writing this down made my BP up - Let me go and check... Preaching is one thing, practicing it, different. So, be happy and dont worry too much reading vague advises such as mine here. |

Do I need to add anything more than avoiding western life style and culture. What are they? I can name a few like avoid fast foods, frequent late night parties, be happy with what you have, do not run behind money, cook at home and eat, do not run on the edge, and finally but not the last that Indian Corporates should promote policies that balance between work and personal time. Many of these people are spending their time at School or college and work to become highest achievers. |

It is a competitive world with lots of stress comes in your way daily. I think, it can be reduced by taking some motivations from yourself what right things you have done in the past. If I managed that then why not this, every day a new kind of stress comes, so motivation from yourself and others. Doing a yoga is also major diagnosis for a problem of BP, but young people do not prefer, i will tell you in some or other day it will become a prominent solution of a problem. Its not that I do regular yoga, but it helps. Yes, At this stage motivation helps a lot then yoga comes.

Stress, improper Diet, lack of time management etc some are the reason for same. Usually we are in tension these days at home also due to official work. But we have to maintain proper distance between the personal and professional life. Proper time management required for daily routine work also. Proper diet and exercise will help to overcome the problem. |
